April Grisanti was last seen on February 1, 1985 after leaving Anthony's Cafe in Norwalk, CT

She was seen with her ex-boyfriend, James C. Aaron. 30 minutes before she left the cafe, Grisanti reported to the police that she was having a dispute with Aaron. Police talked to her at the cafe, but she declined to have Aaron arrested, even though she claimed he assaulted her. Police observed one of Grisanti's fingers was bleeding. Grisanti's mother reported her a missing later that day. Aaron told police that Grisanti had gotten out of his car at a stoplight three blocks from the bar. Grisanti's car was later located in the Norwalk River, near Ann Street. Aaron was arrested later in February 1985 and charged with kidnapping. Aaron was released from prison in December 1991 after serving nearly six years in the kidnapping of April Grisanti. Grisanti has never been found.
