POLICE have arrested and charged a 30-year-old woman over the shooting death of Sydney teenager Brayden Dillon, who was killed while he slept in his western Sydney family home on Good Friday.

The woman was arrested in Blacktown by detectives from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad and charged with the murder of Brayden, 15. On Tuesday, police charged Conrad Craig, 26, over the teenager’s murder at Glenfield on April 14.

A white Mazda 3 seen leaving the street where Dillon was killed less than five minutes after the murder took place was found in an underground car park at Jamisontown this afternoon.

Police allege Craig, armed with a handgun, smashed through the home’s front door, ran past the teen’s mother up a flight of stairs and killed her son by shooting him in the head.

Dillon was rushed to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in a critical condition but he later died.

Craig also allegedly threatened the teen’s mother on the way into the house, as he kicked the front door down. A one-year-old baby and a seven-year-old were also in the house at the time.

The murdered teen’s 19-year-old brother is in jail waiting to be tried for the murder of 18-year-old Adam Abu-Mahmoud in Panania during an alleged fight involving a number of young men in July of 2016.

A second person has been charged with the murder of a Sydney teenager who was shot in the head as he slept in his family's home in Sydney's south-west on Good Friday.

Brayden Dillon, 15, was taken to the Children's Hospital at Westmead in a critical condition, where he later died.

NSW Police have described the shooting as a targeted attack.

Police said someone armed with a gun, whose face was covered, kicked in the front door of the house where they were confronted by Brayden's mother.

Officers said the pair exchanged words but would not detail their conversation.

Brayden's siblings, aged seven and one, were also in the house at the time.

Brayden Dillon, 15, knew people were 'after him' before shot dead in sleep

The night before 15-year-old Brayden Dillon died, he messaged his mates, trying to organise a group trip to the Sydney Royal Easter Show on Good Friday.

It was to his friends he had also expressed concern that someone was after him over his older brother's alleged wrong doings.

By the next morning, Brayden was dead.

He was sleeping in the bed at his Glenfield home in Sydney's south-west when a masked intruder stormed inside and shot him in the head at close range.

His arrest came hours after detectives released CCTV footage of the suspected getaway car spotted driving through Glenfield before and after Brayden was killed.

Eighteen-year-old TAFE student Adam Abu-Mahmoud was stabbed in the street corner confrontation and died.
There was allegedly a history of tension between Mr Abu Mahmoud's friends and Dillon's.
