Crews search for missing Harrisburg woman

Illinois State Police investigations is requesting public’s help in finding a missing 20-year-old Harrisburg woman.

Crews gathered in Ridgway, Illinois on Thursday, March 7 to search for Brooke Naylor.

The twenty year old was last seen in Harrisburg on Sunday, March 3.

Her abandoned Chevrolet Malibu was found on the Eldorado-Ridgway Blacktop about halfway between Route 142 and Route 1.

She was last known to have her brown boxer puppy with her, which is also missing.

ISP said this is an ongoing investigation and anytime someone is missing they consider them in danger.

There is no indication that foul play or her disappearance is connected to local flooding are factors, according to ISP.

This is very concerning! Was the vehicle broke down in any way?

I don't think they've said anything about it's condition at this point. At least I haven't seen it if they have.

Search continues for missing young woman in southern Illinois

Authorities continue to look for a young woman in southern Illinois, and they need your help.

Dozens of people have already volunteered to look for 19-year-old Brooke Naylor.

She was last seen in Harrisburg on March 3, 2019.

Her Chevy Malibu was found abandoned on a road called the Eldorado Ridgeway Blacktop.

A search group is looking for Naylor where her car was abandoned.

The coordinator says it doesn’t matter how long this search will run for. He wants to make sure Naylor is reunited with her family.

"We've been on searches and we have found bodies, but we hope'n to this one and she'd be a live and make sure she gets to her family."

One challenge officials could face, not having an official detail description of what Naylor was last seen wearing.

The article above says they don't know what she was wearing. However, the article I'm posting below says the BF is giving a description:

Brooke’s boyfriend told the outlet that he last saw her at a local Walmart parking lot wearing PINK jogging pants, slippers, and a light jacket. He gathered with around 55 other volunteers on Thursday in Ridgway, Illinois, to help find her, but so far there’s been little clues to her whereabouts.

EARLIER STORY: Around 65 volunteers joined law enforcement personnel Friday in the search for a southern Illinois woman who has been missing since last weekend.

Illinois State Police are leading a grid search of a remote stretch of farmland along the Eldorado-Ridgway Blacktop Road where Naylor’s car was found, a location approximately halfway between Ridgway and Eldorado.
