UPDATE: Amber alert issued for missing Lincoln girl

Lincoln police are asking for the public's help locating a runaway teen whom officials said may be a victim of child enticement.

An amber alert put out Friday night states she has been abducted. Officials also put out an Endangered Missing Advisory.

Police said 14-year-old Camille Iacono's parents reported the teen had run away and was last seen around 5 p.m. Friday getting into a red SUV. Police said Iacono was wearing a black dress.

According to investigators, Iacono had been corresponding with people from out of state, possibly an adult man in Texas.

Police believe Iacono is traveling with an adult in a red SUV, possibly with Texas plates heading South. Officials believe she is in danger. They ask anyone with information to call 911.

Amber Alert issued for missing Lincoln girl

An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing Lincoln girl who may be the victim of child enticement. Investigators now believe Camille "Millie" Iacono is in danger and may be in the company of a male possibly from Texas.

Earlier this evening, Lincoln Police sent out an Endangered Missing Advisory for the 14-year-old.

Officers responded to a home in the 2500 block of S 74th Street on the report of a runaway. The parents reported Iacono was last seen getting into a red SUV possibly with Texas license plates.

The Amber Alert said the SUV was last seen going south. LPD told 10/11 NOW the SUV went south on 74th Street, but that runs into Van Dorn Street. So it's unclear which direction the SUV went after that. As of late Friday evening, LPD said it could not share why Iacono's case was upgraded to an Amber Alert.

Camille had previously been corresponding with individuals who were out of state and she may be the victim of a child enticement scenario. It is believed that she may been corresponding with an adult man in Texas.

LPD is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Camille. She is 5'8" tall, 105 pounds with brown with blonde highlights hair. She was last seen in a black dress with a pink pattern.

In a Facebook post, Lincoln Police encouraged people in neighboring states, as well as hotels and businesses to share Iacono's missing persons post.
