    Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) agents and Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office (CCCSO) deputies were called to an area near Colorado State Highway 103 in Clear Creek County where a motorist discovered a body near the road in early April.

    While investigators are not releasing the cause of death, the female may have been the victim of a homicide.

    LAKEWOOD, COLO. — Investigators are seeking the help of the public in identifying a female body located in Clear Creek County on April 8, 2017.

    Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) agents and Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office (CCCSO) deputies were called to an area near Colorado State Highway 103 in Clear Creek County where a motorist discovered a body near the road in early April.

    While investigators are not releasing the cause of death, the female may have been the victim of a homicide.

    The body is that of a biracial female, age range 15-25 years. The female was wearing a black t-shirt with images of Marilyn Monroe, guns and marijuana leaves on the front. She has black hair and was wearing a black weave. Each earlobe is double-pierced.

    A computer-generated sketch of the female victim is attached with this release.

    Law enforcement officials have searched local, state and national databases; however, there has been no positive identification of the female to date.

    Two tip lines are available to receive information connected with the case:

    Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office at 303-670-7567, or the CBI at 303-239-4219.

    The CBI is assisting the CCCSO on the investigation.

    They body of an unidentified teen or young woman was found earlier this month in Clear Creek County and investigators have released a composite sketch of what she looked like in an effort to discover how she died.

    The Colorado Bureau of Investigation says “while investigators are not releasing the cause of death, the female may have been the victim of a homicide.”

    The body was found on April 8 in an area near Colorado 103 by a passing motorist. The secluded highway runs between Evergreen and Idaho Springs and is also called Squaw Pass Road in some sections.

    CBI says the female was biracial and between 15 and 25 years old. She was wearing a black T-shirt with images of Marilyn Monroe, guns and marijuana leaves on the front. She has black hair and was wearing a black weave. Both of her ear lobes were double-pierced.

    “Law enforcement officials have searched local, state and national databases,” CBI said in a news release Thursday, “however, there has been no positive identification of the female to date.”

    CBI is working with the Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office on the case. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is also providing assistance.

    Anyone with information on the death is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 303-670-7567 or CBI at 303-239-4219.

    Authorities need help identifying body found in CO
    CLEAR CREEK COUNTY - Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman whose body was found in Clear Creek County on April 8.

    They believe that the woman was between 15 and 25 years old. The woman also appears to be biracial with black hair. She stands 5'7" tall and weighs around 143 pounds.

    The woman also has two piercings in the lobe area of each ear.

    She was found wearing a black t-shirt with images of Marilyn Monroe, guns and marijuana leaves on the front.

    CLEAR CREEK COUNTY - The woman’s body found near a road in Clear Creek County in early April has been identified, Colorado Bureau of Investigation said Tuesday.

    A motorist found the body near Colorado State Highway 103 on April 8. After dozens of tips were made to the CBI and the Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office, the body was positively identified as 20-year-old Queen Ashby of Aurora.

    The investigation into Ashby’s death as a homicide is still active. Anyone with information is asked to call the CBI tip line at 303-239-4219

    CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. — The body of a woman found in Clear Creek County early last month has been identified after numerous tips poured into the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the sheriff’s office.

    The body of Queen Ashby, 20 of Aurora, was found by a driver on April 8 near Colorado Highway 103 southwest of Idaho Springs.

    After law enforcement could not identify her through local, state and national databases, the CBI released a computer-generated image seeking the public’s help.

    The announcement of her identification was made Tuesday and the CBI said Ashby’s family has been notified.

    Investigators have not released the cause of death but said she might have been the victim of a homicide.

    The investigation into Ashby’s death remains active. Anyone with information is asked to call the CBI at 303-239-4219.
