Friends scheduled a vigil on Park Central Square at 7 p.m. Monday to honor and remember Dee Dee.

Claudinnea "Dee Dee" Blancharde, 48, was found violently murdered in her Springfield home on Sunday evening. Monday morning, law enforcement officers located her daughter, Gypsy Blancharde, 19, at a friend's home 10 hours away in Big Bend, WI. Gypsy has several health issues & uses a wheelchair.

"The b!tch is dead," was posted on a Facebook page shared by the mother & daughter. Friends in the Habitat For Humanity neighborhood became concerned when the ladies did not answer their calls. One went into the house through an unlocked window & didn't find anyone there, but later officers with a warrant found Ms Blancharde's body.

Investigators had not yet determined a motive in the killing. By all accounts, she is a beloved lady in the community baking cookies, offering to shop for neighbors. She would put on movie nights at her house for all the kids in the neighborhood. "She was extremely caring, always thinking about other people and always smiling, even though she had a lot to take care of because of her daughter's medical conditions." Friends and neighbors are shocked, saying they can't imagine why anyone would want to harm the friendly mother who moved to Springfield from Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina.

She is believed to have died more than 24 hours before her body was found. The friend's home was surrounded by SWAT team & he may be a POI. Asked if Gypsy is a suspect, officers said "We're not ruling anything out."

Missouri missing person, homicide case leads to Big Bend

Officers in Waukesha County have two people in custody related to a missing persons case and homicide in Missouri.

“All I know is the SWAT team came this morning took my wife, and I out of here something with my stepson, supposedly he did something in Missouri, which we don't believe because he wouldn't hurt a fly,” Goldammer said.

Goldammer's stepson is 25. He said Gypsy Rose was fine and wasn't in a wheelchair.

“There's nothing wrong with her. She's OK. She walks and talks and does everything fine,” Goldammer said. “I don't really know anything about her except him and her were talking to each other online. It's his girlfriend, and he went down there to get her and brought her back up here. That's about all I know."

Gypsy Rose and the man are being held for questioning.

The Facebook account does not appear to be very active, but neighbors & friends jumped into action when they read that threatening post. They knew immediately DeeDee was not the author & were hoping against hope that the page had been hacked.

    So many people loved them.

There are photos of Gyp in princess costumes on the FB page. They were big fans & attended Visioncon

"Visioncon is Southwest Missouri's longest running Comic, Anime, Gaming and Sci-Fi convention with 2015 being Visioncon's 24th year. Held this past February 20th, 21st and 22nd the convention experienced over 25% increase in attendance over the previous year.
Over 1,500 attendees, including vendors, a multitude of cosplayers, clubs, organizations, and many more past through the doors during the weekend...."

    Gypsy Rose Blancharde

    Aurora, Missouri

Gypsy Rose Blancharde is twelve years old, yet one of her friends says she has wisdom and compassion beyond her years. Multiple health issues don’t stop Gypsy from encouraging and uplifting others. Before Hurricane Katrina caused Gypsy and her mother to relocate, Gypsy would talk at a university in New Orleans on why we should help and love one another.

At eight years old, Gypsy took the allowance she had been saving for a trip to Disney and used it instead to buy food and blankets for those in need. When she and her mom ended up in need themselves, Gypsy’s mom says she never complained. Instead she would say things are getting better and point out a beautiful flower, saying, “We didn’t see that yesterday; how lucky that we can see it today.”

Just ten hours before Hurricane Katrina struck Louisiana, Gypsy and her mother were evacuated to a special needs camp in a safer part of Louisiana. Gypsy named their shelter Camp Bright Beginnings, and arranged for the evacuees to gather for stories, songs, and games. Thank you, Gypsy Rose, for sharing your smile and big heart with the Oley community!

This whole story just went sideways!!!!
Gypsy Rose Blancharde and still unnamed person of interest are placed in police custody.

    Gypsy met "friend" online.

A person named Charles Goldammer is registered as a sex offender at the address where Gypsy Blancharde was located.

The teenager reportedly has muscular dystrophy and uses a wheelchair. She and the unnamed man were taken into custody for questioning on Monday.

Step dad of person of interest stated to MSM "“There's nothing wrong with her. She's OK. She walks and talks and does everything fine,” Goldammer said. “I don't really know anything about her except him and her were talking to each other online. It's his girlfriend, and he went down there to get her and brought her back up here. That's about all I know.""

I am finding that DeeDee & Gypsy already had a big internet footprint.

And the rumor mill is buzzing that they were scam artists. Oh man, I do not want to believe that.

"__said Gypsy always has an upbeat attitude despite suffering from muscular dystrophy and leukemia" (And more according to FB in next post)

More than 60 people attended a vigil for Dee Dee on Monday evening at the square in downtown people. Many of those in attendance said they knew Dee Dee through Visioncon -- the gaming and sci-fi convention. The Blanchardes are big fans of the Star Wars movies, attendees said.

I'm jumping all around the web attempting to make sense of this. I think I switched the names of the friend/POI & his step-father. That would mean the friend was caught watching porn & masturbating at McDonalds.

Until more info is released, we should assume Gyp is not complicit in the murder of her mother.... does not explain her being held at the WI jail.

If I have grabbed misinformation from hither & yon, I apologise in advance & will request the whole thread be deleted.
