I normally don't laugh at people who get hurt, no matter what they've done, but I couldn't help chuckling at that (I admit it!). :funny:
I guess they had to ditch that plan.

Not sure that the law won since they have a very clear pic of the robber. The tellers definitely won!!

This one happened in Russia. It was not the son's first attempt to off his family, but the first one to get him arrested. Complete with bloody "crime" scene photo.

A SON PLOTTED TO HAVE HIS PARENTS KILLED—SO THEY WENT ALONG WITH IT TO GET HIM ARRESTED
BY CALLUM PATON ON 2/23/18 AT 11:08 AM

Police in Russia have arrested the son of a wealthy family who tried to have his parents killed. Instead, the parents turned the tables on him, playing dead and covered in blood in pictures as if the hit the son had ordered went ahead.

According to reports in the Russian media, the 22-year-old man, who has not been named, was caught after he began making inquiries locally for a hit man to kill his parents in the hopes of cashing in early on the inheritance. He later confessed to police he had plotted their murder for some time, choosing to put out the hit because all his other attempts had ended without success.

The young man approached a friend to ask if he knew where to find a hit man, but the friend immediately informed the parents. The family then alerted the authorities, who assigned an undercover officer to pose as an assassin for hire.

Because the best place to hide a stash of cocaine is ALWAYS in the ceiling of the Omaha, NE police interrogation room....on top of sex-trafficking a 17 year old girlfriend and filing a false police report......

"Hey! I think they're going to take me to jail,' Hartman is heard shouting out to his girlfriend through the wall in the surveillance footage obtained by KETV." Video at link of him accessing the ceiling...

The stupid part was trusting an ex-girlfriend.
I wonder if she agreed to being the get-away driver at the prospect of getting them a longer jail sentence.

Texas murder suspects' jailbreak foiled after drop-off at Sonic drive-in
    By Frank Miles

Three murder suspects busted out of a jail in Texas — but their getaway came to a sudden end Friday after an ex-girlfriend of one of the men dropped them off at a Sonic drive-in, and promptly called the cops.
    [......]
It's not clear why the ex-girlfriend, who was their getaway driver, contacted authorities after dropping them off at the restaurant, according to KSAT.

VICTORVILLE, Calif. — A 14-year-old boy pretending to be a sheriff’s deputy was arrested after an escapade in which he reportedly drove around in an SUV with flashing lights, initiated a traffic stop and announced phony investigations, the real sheriff’s officials said.

The unidentified teen was already on probation for an undisclosed offense. Investigators who searched his home Tuesday found counterfeit money, replica firearms, ballistic vests and other law enforcement related items, San Bernardino County sheriff’s officials said.

Parking authority agents scanning license plates outside the courthouse found a car that had been reported stolen

HARTFORD, Conn. — Police say a man answering to a stolen car charge drove a stolen car to court in Connecticut.

Authorities say 25-year-old Jonathan Rivera was at the Hartford Superior Court on Wednesday to appear before a judge on a charge of first-degree larceny and tampering with a motor vehicle from February.

Florida duo – one in a bull costume – try to burn down a home with Ragu, cops say
    BY DON SWEENEY
    March 20, 2018 01:53 PM

A Florida man received an alert on his phone last week at work – intruders had covered a surveillance camera at his home with a towel. He called 911.

Behind the towel, a bizarre, vengeance-based crime unfolded involving a bull onesie and an arson attempt using a pot of boiling spaghetti sauce, authorities told WKMC.

Derrick Irving and John Silva, arrested March 13 by Volusia County sheriff’s deputies, broke into the home of a man Irving had previously dated to steal a flat-screen television and other items, sheriff’s officials told the station.

Then they set a pot of spaghetti sauce on the stove with a washcloth on the burner in hopes of starting a fire to cover up the burglary, deputies told WKMC.

Florida Woman Claims Cocaine In Her Purse Flew In Through Car Window

A Florida woman tried to explain away the presence of cocaine in her purse by telling police officers the wind blew it in to her bag.

Fort Pierce police officers pulled over resident Kennecia Posey March 21 after the car she was in swerved into another lane, according to Saturday reports.

When the officer approached the car, he noticed the smell of marijuana emitting from it, the police report noted. Officers searched the car and discovered two separate bags of marijuana and cocaine.

Posey claimed the marijuana bag as her own but had no idea how the cocaine landed in her purse, she said.

“I don’t know anything about any cocaine,” Posey told officers, according to the report. “It’s a windy day. It must have flown through the window and into my purse.”

Officers didn’t buy her story, as they booked Posey on one felony count of cocaine possession and a misdemeanor count of marijuana possession.

I dropped it from my drone - whn bet me I couldn't calculate the angles. It wasn't easy considering the breeze & speed of her car.
