Josh McJilton, 37, murdered while helping a stranger in Wauseon, OH *ARREST*

    Police search for suspect linked to Wauseon murder

    WAUSEON (13abc Action News) - A former US Marine survives the service to our country only to come home and be shot trying to help a neighbor.

    The twist of fate happen here in this parking lot in Wauseon behind D&B Billiards.

    Police believe 37-year-old, Romulado Cordoba shot 27-year-old Josh McJilton. McJilton died at Fulton County hospital a few hours later. Police say he was a former Marine that had been living in California and was visiting his mother and step-father in Wauseon.

    Wife of Marine veteran mourns his death after he was shot to death in Ohio while visiting family

    SAN DIEGO - A woman in Oceanside is mourning the death of her Marine veteran husband who was shot and killed in Ohio while he was trying to break up a bar fight.

    Lydia McJilton said her husband Josh McJilton saved her life when they met and married five years ago. She said she was lost and he became her best friend. She believes Josh died a hero.

    He was visiting family in his hometown of Wauseon, Ohio, and was at a bar when he noticed a fight starting between a man and a woman in a car.

    Wauseon fatal shooting suspect at center of nationwide manhunt

    WAUSEON, Ohio -- Authorities from northwest Ohio and across a large portion of the United States are on the hunt for a man who police say shot another man for trying to keep him away from his estranged wife in Wauseon over the weekend.
