Joshua Ryan Milton’s coworkers contacted police when he did not arrive at 5:30 p.m. for his shift as a paramedic student at Harborview Medical Center.

Milton joined the Seattle Fire Department in 2012 and recently joined the paramedic program.

He is 36-years-old and married with a wife and a 3-year-old son. He drives a white 2000 Honda Accord with license plate ABR2611.

Investigators say at this point there is no indication that a crime was committed, but they are concerned for his safety.

The weather is even nastier today, too. At least, it is in the Eugene area, so I assume it's bad up there as well.

Prayers for Joshua and all the SAR teams!!! I met a couple of SAR from Washington on the search for Kyron. I'll bet they are helping, if allowed. They are all heroes looking for a hero.

Many people go to Deception Pass to commit suicide. :( I hope that is not the case here. Unfortunately, many of those bodies are never recovered.

Another Seattle man, Krishna Venkatesh, who worked for Microsoft, is still missing after his vehicle was found at Deception Pass last October.
12-year-old Jonathan Camacho disappeared there (likely accident) in 2000 and was never found.

Police continue to search for missing Bothell man, Seattle firefighter

Investigators continue to search for missing Bothell man and Seattle firefighter Joshua Ryan Milton after he went missing last Thursday afternoon and his car was found near Deception Pass Saturday.
    __________________

Jack Hartt, Deception Pass Park manager, said park rangers first noticed the car parked at the bridge Friday night. When it was still there in the morning, they investigated and found that it belonged to the missing firefighter.
    __________________

Hartt said the park staff searched the park on foot and boats were launched to search the waters below the bridge. There happened to be a race through the park over the weekend, which helped with the search.

While Milton is still considered missing, Hartt said searchers have their suspicions. A Coupeville man killed himself by jumping from the bridge last month.

"It's one of the sad parts of Deception Pass," Hartt said. "That does happen."

Search continues for missing Seattle firefighter

The search for a Seattle firefighter who vanished 10 days ago continues, with the investigation so far uncovering few answers as to where the married father could be.

The Seattle Police Department said Monday it is unwilling to rule out foul play, although no evidence of a crime has been found.

“We really want to be able to bring Josh home. That would be the key here – and making sure that his family is made whole,” Det. Patrick Michaud said. “If that can’t be done, we want to absolutely be able to say, ‘this is what happened,’ and bring them some sort of closure in that way.”

Michaud said investigators continue to look through phone, credit card, and others records to help determine Milton’s whereabouts.
