    [IMG]Ritchie, circa 1966

Ritchie was last seen in Dwarf, Kentucky on November 1, 1966. She left home to go to the grocery store and never returned.
Her family reported her disappearance to the police about a week later, but they stated there was no investigation conducted at the time, and the police later misplaced the missing persons report and all the other information they had on her case. Ritchie left behind six children. She has never been heard from again.

2012, Juanita’s brother got a phone call. A lady claiming she knew the location of Juanita’s body. She told him the whereabouts of a specific well in Rowdy, Ky. This time, the police acted and had the well pumped. Nothing was found, as the water was emptied, and the hazardous condition of the well made officers decide against sending anyone down into the depths to investigate.
Later, Juanita’s brother had the well pumped once again, at his own expense. He said there was a slab of concrete at the bottom…

Why wait a Week to report Her Missing?. Sure it's possible she wanted to get away from there and the responsibility of 6 Children. But the "Brother" has gone to great lengths to dispel that theory. There is no other info. So going to the Store and dosen't come back. Who had motive?. NO INVESTIGATION WAS DONE! Population is 108. So I'm sure it was someone she knew. And the "No investigation" speaks volumes.

They want us to believe that a mother of six disappeared and everyone in the little town "forgot" about it?

Seems to be a reoccurring theme.

Fortunately for Juanita, we CrimeWatchers have not forgotten about it! She was robbed of the police department's duty to protect and serve! Let's not let her be robbed of her justice as well..
