They found her clothes and she wasn't wearing them. Oh this is just too sad! Why did those young men want to kill her? Nothing she could have done could have deserve that!

Kayleigh Haywood missing: Body found in Ibstock, police confirm

Leicestershire Police launch murder investigation into disappearance of 15-year-old - who has not been seen since Friday evening - and re-arrest two men

Detectives searching for missing 15-year-old Kayleigh Haywood have found a body in a field in Ibstock, Leicestershire Police said.

Kayleigh Haywood, from Measham, has not been seen since she vanished after being dropped off outside her former school in Ibstock on Friday.

Friends of the youngster have revealed she may have met a man online.

Leicestershire Police launched a murder inquiry after detectives found her mobile phone and other items. This - combined with other undisclosed information - has led detectives to believe that Kayleigh has been killed.

And in the early hours of Thursday morning, Leicestershire Police confirmed they had found a body in a field in Ibstock during their search for Kayleigh.

Officers made the discovery at around 10pm on Wednesday and the teenager's family has been informed, although formal identification is yet to take place.
