How big was the park where the car was found, I wonder? Was there anything going on in her life where she would want to leave and assume a new identity?

Abercromie missing for five years; still no leads

The family of a missing Bracken County mother is still waiting for answers five years after she went missing.

Michelle Moore, Abercrombie’s sister, said she has heard several rumors over the years, but has had no updates on Abercrombie’s whereabouts.

“We know nothing more today and the police are doing nothing,” Moore said. “We were told she is an adult and can go missing if she wants to or maybe a fisher or hunter would find her one day.”

According to Moore, a rumor has circulated that Abercrombie may have overdosed on drugs in Cincinnati, while with her dealer, and she was left.

“Rumor has it that she overdosed in (Cincinnati) and her dealer and her friend hid her body so they wouldn’t get charged with murder,” Moore said. “The cops were unable to go through her car to see if anyone else had been driving it.”

The Kentucky State Police were unavailable for comment on the case Friday.

Moore said she has also not see Abercrombie’s son in a long time.

“We have no idea what is going on with her son and we have not seen him in three years,” she said.

Moore said she feels like no one cares that her sister is still missing.

“Her husband is remarried. No one cares if she is gone. Her husband, the police,” she said. “We don’t have the resources to do any searching ourselves. For all we know she is in a morgue somewhere waiting to be identified.”
