On this news article that I couldn't copy/paste, there is a comment from a girl who says she saw her 2 days ago with an unknown man, in the area of Morris Road and that she had called LE, but nobody would talk to her

It also says LE is trying to look at activity on a recovered cell phone, but doesn't really give any specifics to that

Will do! I'll tweet right now! Is there anything else we can do to help? Any volunteers needed for searches?

Just did a check. No updates from LE, news (local or MSM) for about 1 1/2 weeks, etc. I searched on Twitter and seen @Kimster tweet. That's pretty much it.

Really strange that the local news isn't getting updates from LE.

22-year-old woman still missing 6 months later

A young woman from Johnson County went missing from Marion County about six months ago.

This Saturday, her family will have a balloon release in recognition of her birthday. It’s at 4 p.m. at the Johnson County Fairgrounds.

    Family seeks clues in disappearance

Dozens of friends and family members of a missing Greenwood woman have sifted through police reports, anonymous tips and leads from strangers on the Internet in the past six months.

Her mother has talked with police every few weeks about the investigation into her daughter’s disappearance and created a Facebook page to share her daughter’s story and face.

But after six months, friends and family of Larissa Sam don’t know where she went after she was last seen leaving a relative’s home June 21.

    Nine months now. Still missing...

This is strange and scary -- where is she? Why would anyone take the sim card? Maybe to hide a call.... Could the phone company help, with that?

Listening to her lovely voice made me sad. :(

Larissa talked with her mom on the phone Saturday and everything seemed fine. Her mom said Larissa went to work Saturday night at the Classy Chassy and then stopped by her uncle’s house in Mars Hill on the southwest side of Indianapolis. She was supposed to pick up her son on Sunday but never showed up. Family and friends worry she could be in danger. Police found her car in the 2700 block of Lyons Avenue, in the Mars Hill area, parked in the driveway of an abandoned home.
The car had a flat tire in the front, the window was down, the keys were in the ignition, the cell phone was in the seat.

This is very worrisome! It worries me b/c she did not return for her child. Reminds me of the McStays and how their parents KNEW something was wrong b/c the dogs were left behind. anytime a pet or child is neglected by an always responsible adult we must worry for that adult! Her car was parked in front of an abandoned house?

I am not at ALL judging this young woman, but from being in ATL and dealing with many young women in the exotic dancing industry THERE IS a good bit of escorting that does go on in those clubs. Anyone ever heard of private dances? champaign rooms? These young women are at risk and my heart goes out to them. Not all take advantage of the "private dances" and put themselves at risk, but I have had friends who were dancers who told me horror stories about girls being abducted from the clubs and drugged only to wake up on a shipping container that is passing by cuba... these are the very girls who many times follow the rule of never leaving the club with a John regardless of how "balling out of control" he is.

VERY WORRIED FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL AND TREASURED YOUNG WOMAN!

It is a very dangerous lifestyle and she probably had no clue something bad could really happen. This case makes me want to cry. :(

Me too @Kimster - and all of these young women like Larissa do not realize how at risk they are. It's scary that stories just like this are happening all over our country. Prayers that Larissa is somewhere safe and will return home soon. If she is not in a safe place I pray that she finds a way to escape her current situation and is able to find help.

    INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) —
A 23-year-old Greenwood woman is missing and her mother fears she may be in danger.
“I’m here because my daugher, Larissa Sam, is missing,” said Rebecca Russell.
    -----
Larrissa was planning to return home as she always does after work at the Classy Chassy Showclub. This time she made a stop to visit her
Uncle in the Mars Hill neighborhood first.
“From there, she was supposed to go straight home and call as soon as she got home. She never showed up.”
    That was early Sunday morning.
