    29 January 2016 20:04

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a missing 23-year-old Werribee man.

Police have been told Liam Mc Conkey was last seen moving out of an address on Shaw Road in Werribee on Thursday 17 December last year and has not been in touch with his family since.

Police and Liam’s family have concerns for his welfare due to a medical condition that requires medication.

It is believed he may be frequenting the Werribee area.

Liam is described as Caucasian in appearance, 183cm tall with blonde hair and a thin build.

It is not known what Liam was last seen wearing.

Police have released the following image of Liam in the hope that someone may know of his whereabouts

:welcome: Good to have you with us!

The media report states he's been missing since December? Is that an error somehow?

No it is not a mistake. The media release was the second time Liam has gone missing. The first time was in May and the People located him in July but he did not want to come home. He then went missing again in December abandoned his car and much of what he had with him. This is why the Police got involved again.

Thanks for your concern and reading the article.

@Tribalworks -- welcome to Crimewatchers. I'm assuming you're friend or family member of Liam's -- so sorry you have to go through all this worry.

I think there's good reason to be hopeful that he's out there somewhere, alive and well and just not wanting to found. It would be great for the people close to him to know that, and I sincerely hope you get some good news soon, which will put your minds at ease.

G'day Tribalworks and welcome to CrimeWatchers!

I've noticed the original police report has been pulled.

Apart from that one report there's nothing else at all on Liam. I wonder if his family has looked into setting up a facebook page.
