How about throwing him on the hooks in his torture chamber and using his pitchfork on him?

I said it before and I'll say it again. This can NOT be this guys first rodeo. I know the focus right now is on Mackenzie, but I hope they do a DEEP dive into his history.

Man suspected of killing Mackenzie Lueck and burning her remains published a murder novel last year about two victims being set alight - and claimed the book was inspired by true events

Ayoola ‘AJ’ Ajayi, the man police believe murdered Mackenzie Lueck and then burned her body in a backyard, wrote a murder novel last year in which two of the characters suffer an eerily similar fate to the Utah University student.

The 31-year-old Former Army IT specialist-come-author self-published the book, titled Forge Identity, which tells the story of a 15-year-old boy originally from Nigeria who witnesses two gruesome murders in which both of the victims are burned alive.

Ajayi, who himself was born in Nigeria, set up a Facebook page, a website and even listed the book for sale on Amazon, claiming on its front cover to be ‘inspired from true events’.

In the hours since, Amazon has removed the book from it website after a number users asked for it be taken down because it was 'written by a murder' who shouldn't be able to profit from the young girl's death.

Salt Lake City Police Chief Mike Brown revealed in a press conference on Friday afternoon that an excavation of the property's garden discovered burned 'female human tissue', which forensic experts later matched to Lueck's DNA.

A number of the 23-year-old's personal possessions were also found among the charred remains.

Police confirmed that Lueck's remains and personal items were found in a 'burned area' in the back yard.

Ajayi was taken into custody at 9.20am on Friday morning, where he was later charged with aggravated murder, kidnapping and desecration of a body.

Chief Brown described the moment he informed Lueck's family that her remains had been found as the 'hardest phone call I've ever had to make.'

He described the victim's family as being 'heartbroken and devastated', passing on their messages of thanks to the members of the Salt Lake City Police Department and members of the public who have helped with their search for MacKenzie.

'We will continue to look into this situation to see if [Ajayi] had any help, or if he acted alone,' Brown concluded.

Family of suspect in Mackenzie Lueck murder case raises concerns he won't get a fair trial

Criminal defense attorney David Bruno weighs in on allegations the suspect in the Mackenzie Lueck case will not get a fair trial due to excessive media coverage.

The body of murdered University of Utahstudent Mackenzie Leuck was recovered 80 miles north of Salt Lake City, police said in a news conference Friday.

Salt Lake City Police Chief Mike Brown said the remains of the 22-year-old college student were recovered Wednesday in Logan Canyon.

“In the wake of this tragic, tragic incident, I am relieved and grief-stricken to report that we have recovered Mackenzie Lueck,” Brown said.

The announcement comes a week after 31-year-old Ayolla Ajayi was arrested in her killing.

Ajayi was charged with aggravated murder in the “tragic and horrific” killing of Lueck after authorities said the investigation uncovered a fresh dig area, charred female human tissue and items belonging to Lueck in Ajayi's backyard.

“After an exhaustive week of investigation, we are filing charges of aggravated murder, aggravated kidnapping, obstruction of justice and desecration of a body in the homicide of Mackenzie Lueck,” Brown said last week.

"I will not be saying the killer’s name again," he added, noting that the crimes were "tragic and horrific".

Lueck, 23, disappeared after meeting an unknown individual around 3 a.m. on June 17 near a park in Salt Lake City, where she had been dropped off by a Lyft driver, according to police. Brown said Ajayi was the last person Lueck was communicating with before her disappearance and that phone records indicated they were both in the area around 3 a.m.

The man accused of killing 23-year-old University of Utah student MacKenzie Lueck is facing more charges.

PEOPLE confirms that Ayoola Ajayi, 31, faces 19 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after police examined his computer and found pornographic images of children. Authorities had seized his computer as part of a search warrant for the investigation of Lueck’s disappearance.

According to charging documents first obtained by the St. Louis Tribune, the forensic lab found multiple images of children engaged in sex acts. The images are unrelated to Lueck’s disappearance.
