Facebook comments (unofficial) show Mark was still missing at Christmas.
He is kindly known as a "gentle giant" and sounds like he is loved and missed by a lot of people.
I hope he makes contact if he can real soon.

This report is from back on Jan 19th....

    Whereabouts of son a mystery

IT’S been 11 weeks and still no word for Maureen Sullivan on the disappearance of her 48-year-old son Mark Stanley Owen Sullivan.

To say it’s been a difficult time for the family would be an understatement.

“He lived on a disability pension, he suffered from depression… we just want him to come home,” she said.

“He is a gentle giant, he looks like a bikie-kind of bloke, but he’s not, he’d curl up if you tried to pick on him.”

Mrs Sullivan was distressed to find a WA Police missing person report stated her son had no fixed address and was living in his car.

She wanted to correct this description, asserting he lived with her and his father at their Burns Beach home, but chose to sleep in his car parked outside.

“Mark slept in his car for the last seven years, but he had a home here,” she said.

“At night he slept in his car, but the next morning he was back in the house… this is his home address.”

The police release also said his mother last saw him at Currambine train station about noon on Saturday, October 31, which Mrs Sullivan said was incorrect.

She contacted the Times to put the story straight, in the hope it might better assist in finding him.

Police said the investigation was continuing.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
