1. NEW JERSEY: An AMBER Alert has been issued for 5-year-old Dulce Alavez, abducted from a park in Bridgeton on Monday, September 16.
    She may have been lured into a red van by an unknown male, possibly Hispanic.

    CALIFORNIA: An AMBER Alert has been issued for John Weir, 2, who was abducted from Merced on September 20.
    He is believed to be in the company of his "armed and dangerous" father, Steven Weir, 32.
    They may be traveling in a red 2005 Hyundai Elantra with California plates 5SKT544.

    Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Yea man Matyas Babos.

    The 79-year-old went missing from his residence on Francis Street sometime between 10am and 4pm on Monday 15.

    Police and friends are concerned for his welfare given his age.

    Investigators have released an image of Matyas in the hope someone knows his whereabouts.

    He is known to frequent the Mansfield area.

    Matyas Babos ■ A funeral service to honour the life of Matyas Babos will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Yea, today (Wed., April 12) at 11am, followed by burial at Yea Cemetery, advises Simplicity Funerals, Reservoir. Mr Babos, 79, formerly of Francis St, Yea, went missing in August last year. SES, CFA and other emergency service crews conducted a wide search of the area. His remains were discovered on a property on Flat Lead Lane, near Whittlesea-Yea Rd, south of Yea.
