"In April 1990, a young woman named Tonya Dawn Tadlock was killed in a mysterious hit-and-run accident in Oklahoma. The prime suspect was her much older husband, Clarence Hughes, but it turned out they were both living under pseudonyms. Hughes was actually a former convicted felon named Franklin Delano Floyd. However, no one could uncover the young woman’s identity. Floyd claimed to have taken her in as a child in the early 1970s after she was abandoned by her real family, though authorities have always suspected she was abducted. Before they were married in 1989, Floyd raised the girl as his daughter, subjecting her to constant abuse. Over the years, they lived in different states under different names and she was also known as “Suzanne Davis” and “Sharon Marshall”.

On March 21, 1988, she had given birth to a son named Michael. Shortly after her death, Floyd was arrested and Michael was placed in foster care. A blood test would later reveal that Floyd was not Michael’s biological father. After being released from jail in 1994, Floyd abducted Michael from his school in Oklahoma. When he was arrested two months later, Michael was nowhere to be found, though it’s believed that Floyd murdered him. Floyd would be convicted of Michael’s kidnapping and another unrelated murder and currently sits on death row in Florida. To this day, he refuses to divulge any information about what happened to Michael, who Michael’s real father may be, or the true identity of the mysterious girl he raised as his daughter."

FINALLY!!!! Though surely, everyone and their dog already knew he'd killed Michael.. now it's official.

Next, I hope this twisted sack of pig poop gives up the true identity of Michael's poor mother.

And I want to add, this guy might know what happened to Michael's mother too! Poor little boy didn't have a chance in this world, did he? And I don't believe that he buried Michael where he says he did. All murderers remember exactly where the bodies were located. I wonder if police are willing to take him out to the spot and have him point it at exactly? I'm sure he could!

    Franklin Delano Floyd

Franklin Delano Floyd (born June 17, 1943) is an American death row inmate. He was convicted of the 1989 murder of Cheryl Ann Commesso, an exotic dancer from Florida, as well as the kidnapping of his 6-year-old stepson from his elementary school in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Floyd is also considered a person of interest in the hit-and-run death of his wife Sharon Marshall. It was later discovered that prior to becoming his wife, Sharon was raised by Floyd from an early age as his daughter and was herself kidnapped by Floyd as a child.
Sharon's true identity remained a mystery until 2014, when she was positively identified as Suzanne Marie Sevakis, the daughter of a woman to whom Floyd was briefly married. He disappeared with Suzanne, her two sisters and infant brother while her mother was serving a 30-day jail sentence in 1975. Suzanne's brother has never been located.

Authorities began investigating Floyd in April 1990 when his wife, Sharon Marshall, was found dead in a suspicious hit-and-run accident. Marshall went by a number of aliases, including Tonya Tadlock, which is how her coworkers at the time referred to her. At the time of her death, Marshall and Floyd were suspects in the 1989 disappearance of 18-year-old Cheryl Ann Commesso, a former coworker of Marshall's. Commesso had disappeared following an angry confrontation with Floyd.[4] Floyd was considered the lead suspect in his wife's death as well.

Following his wife's death, Floyd put their 2-year-old son, Michael Hughes, into foster care and left the state.Hughes' foster parents told authorities the boy had limited muscle control, was non-verbal, and often experienced hysterical behavior when he first arrived at their home, but he had made remarkable progress. In 1994, they began adoption proceedings.

Six months after Hughes was placed in foster care, Floyd was arrested on aparole violation. As part of the adoption process, Hughes' DNA was compared to Floyd's to establish paternity. It was discovered at that time that Floyd was not Hughes' biological father. When Floyd was released from jail, he attempted to regain custody of Hughes. On the basis of his criminal record and the discovery that he had no biological relation, his request was denied.

Sharon Marshall, who was identified through DNA as Suzanne Marie Sevakis

On September 12, 1994, Hughes was in the first grade at Indian Meridian Elementary School. Floyd walked into the school and forced the principal at gun point to bring him to Hughes' classroom. Floyd then forced Hughes and principal James Davis into his pick up truck. Floyd forced the principal out of the truck in a wooded area, handcuffed him around a tree, and sped off with Michael. The principal survived the abduction and was rescued.

Two months later, Floyd was arrested in Louisville, Kentucky. Hughes was not with him and has not been seen since. Government authorities have received conflicting reports as to what has happened to Hughes. Some witness statements detail alleged confessions by Floyd regarding Hughes' death. According to these reports, Floyd reportedly told his sister that he drowned the child in a Georgia motel's bathtub shortly after the kidnapping. Other witnesses stated that Floyd told them he murdered Hughes in the same manner, while another person claimed he saw Floyd bury Hughes' body in a cemetery.

Still other sources report that Floyd has stated that Hughes is still alive and safe, although Floyd had refused to disclose Hughes' exact location (citing vague locations such as "outside the U.S." or "in Atlanta, Georgia") or who is presently caring for him. In his most recent contact with the FBI, he admitted to killing Hughes, although he did not disclose any further details.

Franklin Delano Floyd has confessed to killing Michael Hughes by shooting him twice in the back of the head. He told the FBI where to find Michael's remains, but two decades later, no remains were found after the FBI's search.

Franklin Floyd has admitted to killing Suzanne's baby brother and her son - Michael Hughes. How many more defenseless babies & children did Franklin Delano Floyd murder, or sell for cash?

Sharon Marshall with Michael Anthony Hughes

Sharon gave birth to "Michael Gregory Marshall" in Tampa, Florida, on April 21, 1988.

It is notable that Sharon/Tonya gave her son his father's first name, as his middle name:Gregory.

Franklin Floyd was NOT his father.

The baby's biological father was Gregory Higgs, a student in Phoenix, Arizona. He and "Sharon" became involved in the summer of 1987, and "Michael" was conceived there in July. "Sharon" and Floyd returned to Florida, with Greg unaware that "Sharon" was carrying his unborn child.

When they fled to Louisiana, Franklin Floyd forced "Sharon Marshall" to assume yet another alias, "Tonya Dawn Tadlock" and marry him in New Orleans, using the name "Clarence Marcus Hughes" on June 15, 1989. Michael was given a new alias of "Michael Anthony Hughes."

Sharon's kidnapper, Franklin Delano Floyd, is not Michael's father, as proven by a DNA test.
Floyd has admitted to killing Michael. The FBI has information on the possible location of his remains, so there is hope to recover him for a proper family burial.

His mother, buried as "Tonya 1967-1990" in Park Grove Cemetery, Broken Arrow, Tulsa County, Oklahoma.

It is now known that Sharon/Suzanne/Tonya was born in 1969, so she was about 20 when Floyd killed her in a night time hit-and-run attack as she was walking from a store back to the hotel room they were temporarily living in, on April 25, 1990. She died 5 days later, April 30, 1990.

Above, Sharon Marshall (after assuming alias "Tonya Dawn Tadlock") circa 1989, with her son, Michael Anthony Hughes / Michael Gregory Marshall.
His real father learned of his son Michael after Sharon/Tonya's death, but Floyd vanished again before Gregory Higgs could find him.
Franklin Delano Floyd abducted Michael Hughes, age 6, from Indian Meridian Elementary School, on September 12, 1994, in Choctaw, Oklahoma, taking the little boy from the school at gunpoint

"Tonya" is buried under this tombstone in Park Grove Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma,
a gift from the friends she had recently made in Oklahoma.

Her real identity can now be placed on the tombstone:
    Suzanne Marie Sevakis
    1969 - 1990
❤ Beloved daughter, sister, mother ❤
    Justice will be served.

"A Beautiful Child" by Matt Birkbeck. Her name is not on the front cover, but the name given to her by her kidnapper, was "Sharon Marshall" in Forest Park High School in Georgia, where she graduated in 1986, when she was 7 months pregnant.

A family photo depicts Michael Anthony Hughes fishing with his foster dad, Ernest Bean.

But from death row in Florida, in September 2014, Floyd admitted to two FBI agents from Oklahoma what had been suspected all along. Floyd said he had killed Michael the same day of the abduction, after it became clear his plan to raise the boy while being a fugitive from the law wasn't going to work — this time.

"I'd been asking him, 'How'd you kill him? How'd you kill him? How'd you kill him?' " FBI Special Agent Scott Lobb told The Oklahoman. "And he finally just turned and looked at me and said, matter of factly, 'I shot him twice in the back of the head to make it real quick.' ... He didn't show any remorse."

Floyd told the two agents, Lobb and Nate Furr, that he shot and buried Michael at the last Oklahoma exit before the Texas border on Interstate 35. A two-day search of the area in March 2015 year found no evidence.

"We had to break through that facade, that wall, and get him to where he confessed to what he did with the boy," Lobb said. "He was (saying) the same thing ... 'Michael was married to a government attorney living in the Kansas City area. Michael was safe in a foreign country.' There were a couple of other stories that were just far-fetched."

Floyd in April 1990 had left Michael in state custody after his wife, the boy's mother, died in a hit-and-run incident in Oklahoma City. The boy was then 2. Floyd then was a federal fugitive, on the run for 17 years for breaking parole. He had been in prison for bank robbery.

At the time of the kidnapping, Michael was 6 and had been living with the same foster parents for almost four years. Floyd had been back in and out of federal prison and was seeking to regain custody of Michael. Floyd claimed the boy's foster parents were abusive.

The agent said Michael got out of control on the drive toward Texas and Floyd couldn't handle it. Floyd then decided to kill the boy. "He knew it couldn't be what he wanted it to be," the agent said. "He knew his life wouldn't be the same because Michael didn't love him anymore, didn't want to be with him."

Floyd, now 72, is on death row in Florida for fatally shooting an exotic dancer, Cheryl Commesso, in 1989. He was convicted in 2002, after a landscaping worker found her skull in 1995 along a Florida interstate. The evidence against him in that case included photos of the dancer — beaten. Floyd had hidden the photos on top of the gas tank of the pickup truck that he had stolen from the Oklahoma elementary school principal. A body shop owner in Kansas found the photos in 1995.

Commesso and Michael's mother had been co-workers at the strip club in Florida.

Floyd also admitted to the two FBI agents from Oklahoma the true identity of Michael's mother. In an interview in May 2014, he disclosed she was Suzanne Marie Sevakis — the oldest of three daughters of a woman he married in North Carolina in 1974 shortly after becoming a fugitive.

He revealed that he took off with Suzanne in 1975 after her mother was jailed in Dallas on a minor offense. They moved first to Oklahoma City. He said he dropped the other girls at a children's home. The FBI confirmed his account through marriage records and DNA samples.
