Myra Lewis is missing from Camden, Mississippi since March 2014.

Myra was last seen playing outside her home between 10:30 and 11:00 am on March 1, 2014. Her mother left to go to the grocery store and told Myra and her siblings to go inside with their father. Each parent thought Myra was with the other, so no one noticed her missing until 3:00 pm. An AMBER Alert was issued for her and an extensive search of the area was done, but there was no sign of her. About a week after Myra disappeared, her mother was arrested on an "unrelated" probation violation for having a gun in the home. She was released 2 months later. Subsequent searches have also turned up nothing and Myra is still missing.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information regarding the whereabouts of Myra Lewis.

One year later, Myra Lewis is still missing

One year ago today, a Camden toddler disappeared seemingly into thin air, prompting a huge manhunt and leaving authorities wondering how a child can simply vanish.

Sheriff hasn't given up on finding Myra Lewis

A year has passed since Madison County toddler Myra Lewis vanished from her Camden home, and Sheriff Randy Tucker said he hasn't given up on finding her.

"This is a case we wake up to every morning and go to bed to every night," Tucker said. "We've continued our investigation for an entire year. At no point has this investigation been closed. It's been active the entire time."

Sheriff: 'All resources exhausted' in search for Myra Lewis

On Monday afternoon, Sheriff Tucker, of Madison, told reporters his office has exhausted all resources in its search for Myra Lewis.

Sunday marked one year since Myra went missing near her Camden home.

Sheriff Tucker says they welcome any outside organization that would like to help assist in their investigation. He also said right now his department and the FBI are just relying on leads.

New investigative team searches for Myra Lewis

It's been nearly two years since the little Myra Lewis disappeared from her Madison County home. Although the missing toddler has not been located, a new team of private investigators has joined the search.

There's a lot that needs to be unraveled in this case," said Sandye Roberts of Halos Investigations LLC.

Now Halos Investigations, a new firm on the Gulf Coast, has joined the probe, offering their services for free.

But Roberts is not optimistic that Myra will be found safe.

"The family does feel like she's still alive," said Roberts. "We can't really feel a hundred percent like that may be the case."

When asked if there was new evidence that leads to that assumption, investigators would not release details.

Myra Lewis missing 2 years; no new leads

The Amber Alert for missing Camden toddler Myra Lewis is the longest-standing in the state.

Myra, who was 2 when she disappeared, has been missing for two years as of Tuesday.

"Sheriff (Randy) Tucker and his staff have followed up on hundreds of leads, and they continue to follow up on any new information that comes forward," said District Attorney Michael Guest. "While we are all disappointed that we have not yet been able to bring closure to this case, I have great confidence that this case will be solved."

"The FBI is supporting the Madison County Sheriff's Department in this active investigation," said FBI Special Agent in Charge Don Alway. "We still consider Myra to be alive and well, just away from home."

3 years later: Myra Lewis still missing

A $20,000 reward still stands for anyone who can offer information on a Camden toddler who went missing three years ago Wednesday.

The Amber Alert in place for Myra since March 2, 2014, is the longest-standing in the state.

The community has marked off each anniversary of the child's disappearance, remembering the manhunts that went on throughout Madison County. Family, friends, law enforcement and total strangers turned out to search for Myra, and to this day there have been no clues as to her whereabouts or what might have happened to her.

    But the investigation continues.

On March 1, 2014, she disappeared from her home in Camden.

Law enforcement officers spent endless hours and days after the initial report looking for Myra, but the search turned up empty.

The FBI is still offering a reward of up to 20,000 regarding information on the whereabouts of Myra.

Investigators still searching for answers 5 years after Myra Lewis’ disappearance

It’s now been five years since a two-year-old went missing from Camden.

The search continues for Myra Lewis.

The Madison County toddler—who would be 7 years old today-went missing from her Mount Pilgrim Road home in 2014.

A picture of her age progression and what she would look like today was released by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Investigators on the local, state and federal level say they are still searching for answers in her case.

The Jackson office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation said the last tip they received in her case was six months ago.

They have followed up on 20 credible tips since her disappearance.

Anyone with information on her disappearance is asked to call local law enforcement. There is still a $20 thousand reward being offered for tips that could lead to answers about her disappearance.

The house on Mount Pilgrim Road where Myra was last seen now sits empty. It was abandoned by her family, who also seems to have disappeared. Tucker said the family does not check in with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

“We’ve tried to maintain contact with them,” Tucker said. “We don’t have any way to contact them at this point. They’ve moved away (and) didn’t provide a forwarding phone number or address or anything of that nature.”
