Yes, it makes it seem personal, not just a random attack. Yet the Police say they haven't found a motive. Someone must know.

You're right actually, it doesn't really seem like it.

"The attacks were reported to police, who ended up offering to follow Ms Ellis on her drive to work each day in the hope of catching the offender red-handed. They also had patrol cars drive past her home at different times of the day and night.

Police had escorted her to work on the Friday she was murdered and were due to escort her again the following Monday."

Perhaps the perpetrator realised she was being escorted, and were scared that they'd get caught if the police saw them on that Monday... After that, did the vandalism stop for the other people? Because if so, that's very coincidental.

In the article I posted above, the older son Craig says that if the reward led to evidence: “It would bring closure for me. I could get on with my life and not be preoccupied with trying to find out who the killer was". It seems as if he is still actively trying to work out 'who dun it'. It would be great if he could come on this forum and we could work together to try to find some clues to help solve it.

whoever it was had to know what they were doing, (first cutting her vocal cords so she couldn't scream out for help) and then stabbing her in the jugular, (guaranteed to kill quickly). It must have been an experienced killer, as its not something everyone would know exactly how to do. My bet is a disgruntled Ex Boyfriend/Lover/Would be Boyfriend Lover, someone she 'rejected', or dumped.

    :welcome:

    Nice to meet you, @fox68!

If the ex-bf is the case, then he must have been a pretty rough character already. Perhaps abusive.
