    This is just horrific!!

Baby in critical but stable condition after being burned in western Sydney home

    November 23, 2015 5:57pm

THE man accused of beating and burning his girlfriend’s 10-month-old son allegedly told police the child was placed in a shower with only the hot tap turned on after vomiting, a court has heard.

The 23-year-old faced Penrith Local Court this morning, and appeared dishevelled but emotionless in the dock.

Upon opposing bail, the prosecution told the court the man put the child on the floor of the shower in the Penrith home and turned on the water before going to put his phone on the charger and having a cigarette

He returned to the shower and discovered the baby’s “skin peeling off”, the court heard.

“(The baby received) unspecified head injuries resulting in severe bruising to his skull, face and jaw, the burn injuries noted as being horrific,” Mr Wilson told the court.

Mr Wilson said when arrested by police the man’s behaviour was “inadequate” and “only concern was for himself and whether he would received a custodial sentence and whether he would be given bail”.

Man accused of boiling baby in shower had been cleared by NSW child protection agency

    November 23, 2015

A MAN who is accused of causing horrific injuries to a 10-month-old baby by boiling him in a shower had just received the all clear to look after another infant by NSW’s child protection agency.

The boy continues to fight for life in an induced coma with bruising to his skull, jaw and third degree burns to half of his body. He remains in a critical condition, a Westmead Children’s Hospital spokeswoman told AAP.

Police claim the man accused of attacking the boy told them the toddler had thrown up so he put him on the floor of the shower of a Penrith home and turned on the water before going to charge his phone and smoke. The boy’s skin was “peeling off” when he returned, he told police.

I did NOT want to click on this case.

I had already guess it was yet ANOTHER "boyfriend kills the baby" scenario -- well, bingo, on the bf part.

I almost wish I had not clicked though -- if this dear little soul survives, he's in for a long, painful road.

Unthinkable. I hope this monster rots in a jail cell, LWOP. But we all know what to expect from the Aussie courts, so it's unlikely.

This guy is a savage, he would have heard the baby crying in excruciating pain from the second he turned on the tap.

He was scheduled to appear Dec 14 anyone know outcome? I cant find updates.

Nothing so far about his court appearance. The creep was appearing via video link so it most likely would have been a mention only.

But seems further charges have been laid against him....
