    This makes much more sense.

and yeah, the police can't be everywhere at once. I'm surprised the police and townfriends didn't know there was a marijuana farm, even if kept quiet seems like that would be known...

Marijuana 'grow operations' found at Ohio slaying sites

(CNN)Investigators found three marijuana "grow operations" at residences where eight family members were slain in southern Ohio, state Attorney General Mike DeWine said Sunday at a news conference.

He didn't say whether the marijuana was connected to the execution-style killings discovered last Friday at four residences in Piketon.
Authorities disclosed few other details about the execution sty

According to DeWine, 18 pieces of evidence has been submitted to the crime lab and at least five search warrants have been issued and completed.

Ohio Family Killings: No Motive Known, Case 'Is Going to Take Some Time,' Ohio AG Says

As authorities search for the gunman responsible for the "execution type" killings of eight relatives, officials say they still do not have a suspect description or motive, and Ohio's attorney general tells ABC News that "a case like this is going to take some time."

Attorney General Mike DeWine said the suspect or suspects took several steps to cover up their tracks and remove any possible evidence that would help police track them down.

He says authorities have received more than 100 tips so far and they are following up on all of them.

Ohio AG: Family killings 'a pre-planned execution'

The killing of eight people in Ohio last week was "a pre-planned execution," the state's attorney general said on Sunday, telling reporters that the deaths of eight rural Ohio family members by one or more killers weren't random.

"They thought this thing through, whoever did it," said Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine.

The manhunt and investigation into the execution-style murders rolled through a third day Sunday with no answer to the mysteries of who committed the horrendous crimes or why.

Speaking to reporters on Sunday afternoon, DeWine provided few new details, but said police found marijuana growing operations at three of the crime scenes.

He also made it clear that the killings weren't random or spontaneous.

“This is not the case where somebody got mad at someone else and shot them and there’s a witness, two witnesses,” he said.

He added later that the eight victims "were all murdered, and they were all murdered execution-style. They went after all of them.

FWIW, I have a feeling it was a team of 3 people/3 groups of people ............. Initially they were hitting THREE locations. It would be pretty risky to go to each house, one by one. What if one got hold of someone from one of the other locations? Tipped them off? Nope, like LE does, they MOST LIKELY hit them all at the same time.

    JMHO of course!

If you look back through Google, you'll see there's been talk of Mexican Drug Cartel being in Ohio for a few years now. One hit man for the Cartel lived in Ohio for 10 years and that was posted about 2012, so since 2002.

There were some things that went on between the group trying to legalize marijuana and allegedly the Cartel. The groups account was hacked and $100's of thousands stolen. The individuals were being stalked and threatened.

My bet is, IF it's the Cartel, they were trying to muscle in or didn't want the family to grow or something like that.

Seems no one is safe anymore.

I thought the cartels were moving toward heroin because of the legalization of marijuana in some states?

Are there winesses? I heard the 911 audio but not sure who it was.
    This sounds like ms13.
    Or heck...even isis.
It is a concern that isis will somehow merge or use ms13 (by giving money)
    to infiltrate the U.S.
