Based on a forensic anthropology examination conducted by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office, Jane Doe is believed to be a white female, 15 to 24 years of age, 4-foot-11 to 5-foot-3 inches tall, with a petite build and brown hair.

When she was found she was wearing size zero "Just USA" brand blue jeans, pink colored panties, a size 36A black colored "Lily of France" brand bra; and a size small blue floral print "Ambiance Apparel" brand blouse.

Anyone who may know the identity of Jane Doe is asked to contact the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office at 408-808-4500 or the Anonymous Tip Line at 408-808-4431.

Perhaps in the Big Basin mountains? That's a pretty expensive area, between Los Gatos, Monte Sereno (which is just as it sounds) & Saratoga. I used to spend all my weekends there escaping my fiercely intense fun but trying job as a bilingual Ed teacher. Lots of Europeans live there, with average house cost, even a shack, >$1 million. Perhaps she came from over the valley near Bonnie Doon.

Interesting ideas, @Dama . Are you familiar with the brands of the clothing she wore? If they were expensive? "Lily of France" sounds expensive, but I have no idea?

Lily of France is sold in JC Penney. Those cutie towns like LG, MS & Saratoga don't attract too many new-hippies. The $$$ there is mostly foreign or tech bubble. I just feel she's from the Big Basin which is why she hasn't been looked for in over a year.

possible matches starting april of 2014 to the date the body was found:

http://www.nampn.org/cases/barstow_elizabeth.html - Elizabeth was last seen on November 6, 2014, in Aptos, California. She may still be in the local area, or she may travel to San Jose, Santa Clara, Watsonville, or Santa Cruz, California. Elizabeth's lip is pierced, and she may wear black-framed glasses. She may use the alias last name Echols.

I've been reading Websleuths off and on for a couple of years, and found my way to Crimewatchers. This unidentified person captured my attention because she was found in the county where I have lived most of my life, although not in the area where she was found. Just a few thoughts:

The clothing description seems unusually detailed, and it strikes me that with an A-cup bra and size 0 jeans, she is likely to be closer to the younger end of the age range. A kid of 15. Also, the 36-inch size of her bra seems too large for a girl who fits into size 0 jeans. Could she have borrowed it? Did she get it from a goodwill store or charity bin? Did somebody buy it for her, and choose the number because it is a "perfect 36."

Finally, just an impression, but my sense about her clothing is that this was a date. She had a nice new blouse, in a style first sold that very spring. She was found in December, but this is summer apparel. In the Bay Area it is too cold in December to wear a summery blouse without a sweater or jacket. Even in summer, it would become dark and cold after sunset under the trees along that part of Highway 9.

I keep hoping to read in the paper that she has been identified.

Great analysis and welcome♡ to our group! What a blessing to have you here!

I didn't catch that bra size as compared to the size of her clothes. And they didn't mention that she had breast implants so I'm thinking that does sound really strange! Very, very interesting!

Ambiance Apparel is sold at Forever 21, in junior sizes. Not that that helps any, unless Forever 21 was her favorite store and most/all of her wardrobe was from Forever 21. "Whatever happened to Suzy?
" "IDK, no-one has seen her for at least a year, but she always wore the cutest clothes from Forever 21 when we were in high school".

Emily Lyn Hieber of Yuma, AZ went missing in Feb 2013. She was supposed to have been 5'7", so the height is wrong, but the face looks very similar.

That's about a 9 1/2 hour drive. Not unreasonable by any means.

Just found the wiki with Carl Koppelman's color drawing of what she might have looked like! It is easier for me to relate to the painting than to the cold white marble, as much as I very much appreciate the FBI's work in making the reconstruction. Thank you Carl! I wonder if it would be too hard to do a second version with her hair in the top-of-the-head ballerina bun nearly every female around here was wearing that year? That might make her more recognizable to people who knew her.

Wearing a size zero, I doubt she could have been over 100 pounds- I'd guess more like 95.

The size 36 bra does make me wonder if she was possibly older. Not many adult women are that petite, although some are. I'm wondering if this could have been an adult who used something like heroin?

Alternately, I'm wondering if they are quite certain about race. Could she have been Asian? Not sterotyping- I've personally known quite a few Asian women and a much higher percentage of my personal aquaintances from Asian and Indian cultures are petite than among my Caucasian or friends of other race/ethnicity.

It's also strange that she doesn't appear to be reported missing from the nearby area, and does not appear to be living on the road (no bags, backpack, etc. and her clothes are not really the sturdy type for living in the rough). This kind of leads me back to the theory that she may be a young adult woman involved in drugs and possibly living a lifestyle with some permanence- like sharing housing, or couch-surfing, but not permanent enough that her disappearance is considered terribly odd. Or, perhaps, in a community of folks who don't or can't report a missing person?

My cousin used to run away and live on the streets a lot. When she was gone, we of course wondered where she was and if she was ok. I used to wonder, when she came home to us, did her street friends think the same things? I'm sure they didn't know her full name and would have no way to report her mssing if they suspected something bad had happened. As an adukt, LE would never take a missing persons report on her because she was gone voluntarily. I just wonder if this young Jane Doe is essentially the same as my cousin. Lost, but not "missing".

Lily of France is a fairly expensive brand of lingerie if it's purchased in the department stores. TJMaxx carries it at a reduced price, though.
