Qld TWO CHILDREN: Missing from Emerald, Qld - 25 Aug 2016 - Age 6 & 7 *Found Safe*

    Urgent hunt for two children, aged 6 and 7, missing in central Queensland as police search for a man 'known to them'

    Two children are at significant risk after they went missing from Emerald, a town in central Queensland.

    Queensland police are seeking urgent public assistance to locate the seven-year-old girl and six-year-old boy who are believed to be travelling in a car with Shea Lum.

    He is known to the children and is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, around 166 centimetres tall with short black hair and brown eyes.

    The girl is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, a medium build, around 100 centimetres tall with brown eyes and black hair.

    The boy is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, 90 centimetres, slim build, black hair, brown eyes.

    They are travelling in a blue 2007 Holden Barina and were last seen travelling east on the Capricorn Highway at Emerald.

    The vehicle may be heading towards the Townsville area.

    Ring 131 564 to provide information about this high risk missing person situation.

    Missing children may be travelling to Townsville

    TWO children reported missing from Emerald may be travelling to Townsville.

    The Queensland Police Service has issued an Amber Alert for a six-year-old boy and a seven-year-old girl, who are believed to be travelling with 30-year-old Shea Lum.

    Police are seeking urgent public assistance after the children were reported missing from Emerald around 6.30pm last night, and may be at significant risk.

    Mr Lum is known to the children.
