'Olivia wouldn't want you to cry. She'd have wanted to hear the hits': Tearful Ariana Grande reveals inspirational message mother of bombing victim said to her during Manchester concert
    • Ariana Grande dedicated emotional performance to Olivia Campbell, 15, who died at Manchester Arena gig
    • Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Coldplay, Pharrell Williams, Black Eyed Peas, Usher, Take That, Robbie Williams, Little Mix, Niall Horan performed for free to raise at £2m for We Love Manchester Emergency Fund
    • Manchester Police said security was tightened around the venue but warned another attack was 'highly likely'
    • Seven dead and 48 injured after trio mowed down people and started stabbing at random in London last night
    • Comes after 22 people and a further 100 people were injured in the Manchester Arena bombing on May 22
Ariana Grande dedicated an emotional performance to a 15-year-old fan murdered at her Manchester Arena concert as she told her audience, 'her mother told me Olivia wouldn't want me to cry and would have wanted to hear the hits.'

The star paid tribute to her fans, including Olivia Campbell, 15, at her One Love concert at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground tonight as concert goers proudly wore clothes emblazoned with the slogan, 'We stand together'.

Mumford and Sons' Marcus Mumford called for a minute's silence in memory of those who have lost their lives in the last fortnight before Gary Barlow told the 60,000-strong crowd: 'We want to stand strong, look at the sky and sing loud and proud.'

Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Coldplay, Pharrell Williams, the Black Eyed Peas, Usher, Robbie Williams, Little Mix and One Direction star Niall Horan also performed for free to raise at least £2m toward the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.

The event went ahead despite another terror attack in London last night in which seven people were killed and nearly 50 injured after three men drove a van into a crowd on London Bridge and set upon people in a crazed knife rampage.

I'm sorry, but these tributes and proclamations of "love" everybody and act like nothing has really happened make me sick.

What does any of this do? Temporarily make the world all fuzzy and nice?
    Make people "feel" less accountable?

    Get REAL people.
Take a stand. Choose good over evil.
Stop tap dancing around reality and truth.

No it's to show that no matter what terrorists motives are
we will not become them and hate anyone who doesn't
    share our world view
And yes choose good over evil
    use love to defeat hate

Every one there, performers and fans, WAS taking a stand, just by being there. He whose name is dirt did his worst, and failed. Noone is afraid, and noone is cowering. 60,000 people drove that message home last night.

London Attack Suspect Known as ‘Abs’ Appeared in Film About Extremists

LONDONEveryone called him “Abs.” He gave out Halloween candy to children and taught them how to play Ping-Pong. He invited his neighbors to barbecue.

But Khurum Shazad Butt was not the typical resident of the East London neighborhood of Barking. He dressed in the religious gown of a conservative Muslim — with a tracksuit and sneakers underneath. He turned up in a Channel 4 documentary, “The Jihadis Next Door.” And now London’s Metropolitan Police have identified him as one of the three men who carried out the deadly terror attack on Saturday at London Bridge and Borough Market.

Mr. Butt and his accomplices drove a van onto the sidewalk of London Bridge, running over pedestrians, before jumping out of the vehicle and stabbing patrons at the bars and restaurants of Borough Market. They killed seven people and injured dozens before they were shot and killed by police less than 10 minutes after the rampage began.

It was the van that struck a chord with Ken Chigbo, one of Mr. Butt’s neighbors in Barking....
