This may be a long shot, but it keeps gnawing at me. Helen Stark went missing years before this JD. But, what if she left and took up
with someone else, or was afraid to go back home.
She is taller and says her eyes were "believed" to be brown.
The facial structure looks similar to me, so I'm going to add it here just in case. :)

I didn't see her on rule-outs either. I checked before posting her here.
I also found another woman who apparently left town and went to Indiana
never to be heard from again.
I'm going to add that person here in case there is a chance either of these are a match.

Here is the other woman I think is a possible match.
Her teeth look like they have decay and JD had false teeth.
She also has a cleft in her chin, it appears.

I also think she knew her killer, I've also wondered if this was a case of elder abuse.

I hadn't thought of elder abuse, but that is a good possibility.

    Gosh....this one seems eerily similar.
She might have been held captive for years and then dumped for needing medical attention or for no longer being of use to a perp.
    Tragic.

    Hey everyone,

After reading over all of the great information that people have provided... has anyone read/heard/discovered what color the Seiko watch was that was found? Was it silver, gold, black, etc.?

I don't recall what color the watch was or if it was mentioned.
This is such a sad case. I hope she is ID'd and gets her name back.

I looked around and didn't see much more of an explanation either! They have really focused on the teeth, though. I'll keep searching as time allows. Hope we find out!

DNA Doe Project has picked up her case. It is considered "active".
A case is active once the DNA has finished sequencing, a Gedmatch kit has been created for it, and it has been uploaded.

WOW! What a great Computer composite. The poor Woman suffered such an agonizing death. I am surprised also no one came forward knowing her. This seems personal to me.
