HOUSTON, Texas — (Scroll Down For Video) — Popeye’s restaurant located at 22534 Tomball Parkway on Monday, January 8, 2018, at around 6:15 p.m.

Surveillance video shows a teenager being stuffed into the trunk of a car and it all happens in plain view of a camera.

Harris County Sheriff's deputies need your help finding the people in the video, taken last night in the parking lot of the Popeye's restaurant on Tomball Parkway near Spring-Cypress Road.

The video shows two teens chasing the victim in the parking lot. When they finally catch him, they toss him in the trunk of the black Toyota Corolla and drive off.

Wow. I hope the teen is found safe. The abc article says LE is trying to determine whether it is an actual crime or a prank. I remember a similar incident where someone was stuffed into a trunk right in front of a Walmart store. We wondered who would be stupid enough to do something like that in a crowded parking lot and in front of surveillance cameras. It turned out to be a prank, thankfully. I hope this is also a prank, but would want to see the teens duly punished.

We did that as a prank as teenagers on Birthdays. Then drive right to a sit down Breakfast. In the early morning hours. But Parents knew EVERYONE. It was from our Houses. And a known Tradition. This would be extremely unfunny. Wanting Strangers to see someone supposedly get kidnapped. We got ALOT of looks when one of us got out if the Trunk. But we were all laughing. I can't believe anyone would be so stupid to Kidnap anyone at a "Popeye's". But some Criminals are REALLY STUPID! And with Cameras.?
