TX ZANYAH LUCIO: Missing from San Antonio, TX - 6 May 2019 - Age 3 *Found Safe*

    SAN ANTONIO (KXAN) – An Amber Alert has been issued for a 3-year-old girl from San Antonio, who is believed to be in danger.

    Zanyah Rita Lucio is described as being about 3 feet, 4 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink tank top and pink pajama pants with rainbows and hearts. She was not wearing shoes.

    Law enforcement believe Zanyah is in "grave or immediate danger," officials wrote in a press release early Tuesday. She was last seen at about 11:30 p.m. Monday at an apartment in San Antonio.

    Police are looking for 20-year-old Gabriella K. Lucio in connection with the abduction. The elder Lucio is described as being about 4 feet, 11 inches tall with black or red hair and brown eyes. She has multiple tattoos.

    Amber Alert issued for missing 3-year-old San Antonio girl

    Police have identified one suspect in connection to the abduction, 20-year-old Gabriella Kathleen Lucio. She has an active arrest warrant for kidnapping, police said Wednesday morning.

    Investigators believe Gabriella Lucio entered the girl's home through a window around 9:24 p.m.

    She allegedly knocked down a 57-year-old woman before taking Zanyah Lucio and fleeing the home on foot, police said.

    Officers searched for her with helicopters and K-9 units, but the search was unsuccessful.

    Suspect crawled through a window in order to get to 3-year-old

    Lucio reportedly knocked down Debra Villareal, 57, to get to Zanyah. Villareal tried to stop Lucio from taking the toddler, but Lucio ran away with Zanyah.

    Zanyah is a Hispanic female, age 3, born 10/30/15, height 3 foot 4 inches, weight 38 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes.

    3-year-old San Antonio girl found safe

    UPDATE 1:30 PM: Police tell us Zanyah Lucio has been found safe.

    UPDATE AT 11:43 AM: San Antonio Police said during a news conference that the grandmother was laying down in bed with Zanyah when she heard a noise. She opened the door to investigate and Gabriella Lucio was in the house. Gabriella then allegedly pushed her down and forcefully took Zanyah from the bed. Gabriella fled on foot with Zanyah. No word on where Gabriella would be going with Zanyah.

    When police arrived, the grandmother was still lying on the ground. She was treated by EMS and is expected to be alright. Gabriella had lost custody of Zanyah and the girl was living with her grandmother.
