JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

Verdict watch. At least we don’t have to have a lot of anxiety that she might get off Scott free. No matter what, she still serving life in prison in Idaho.
It is a HUGE relief to know that already that she won't go free, although it would still be very disappointing for Charles to not get justice! Praying for a guilty verdict today:gavel: !!

Any idea why Chad wasn't charged with conspiracy too?
It's been said they didn't feel they had enough. If we look at what it took to bring it all together against Lori herself, I think it is clear that Chad would be even harder. I do hold out hope though that perhaps later they might bring charges against him.

I agree with you. Hi… I’m back.
IMO Lori is a serial killer and in her own words has “nothing to repent for”. So why is she blaming Tyler for JJ’s death? Because she knows she is evil and loves all of it.
I was especially upset this evening when I read that Lori sent the ashes of Charles to his grown sons (only in their 20’s!) and to Kay by Fed Ex and didn’t let them know the ashes were being sent!!
It was like “Here. I’m done. I killed him and this is what’s left. Enjoy!” That is Lori! If I was a juror with no other evidence, I would put her on death row. Of course that is not possible because it is only a charge of conspiracy.
The justice system and Chandler PD failed Charles.
I hope they do better with Brandon!
OMG you have no idea how happy I am to see you!! Been wondering how you've been!

Yeah the ashes being "mailed" seems very cold to me too. Have known the transport of ashes in my life and it was considered very serious and sacred. My sister picked up my brother's. My other sister picked up my granddaughter. A friend of mine picked up her dad's. It was a VERY big deal in each case. You just SHIP them? I'm not sure I realized they didn't know they were coming, was that said? I watched the testimony but didn't pick up on that part but I sure can believe it. She LIKES hurting people.

Yeah, she belongs on death row. I was SO disappointed when that had to be taken off in the first trial--or she would be ON death row.

HOW have you been?? So nice to see you!!

Just a minor note. Cremains are shipped a lot. My husband is a retired mail carrier. The packages are marked HUMAN REMAINS or something of that nature.
It wouldn't surprise me and doesn't I guess. My point was most take it pretty seriously and go get them but I guess if states away it may be different. It sounds like though Kay didn't' now they were coming nor his sons and Lori didn't even notify of the death at first. Guessing Kay would have went to get them but who knows.

I can see where they would be shipped at times. I guess. So I guess not surprised it happens. I personally take such more seriously, it was a loved one and this is their remains whether body or ashes. If at all possible I think we'd see them not handled like some package...

My sisters were almost overstressed with the responsibility of getting them and bringing them home.

Everyone probably feels various ways but it is like when someone splits ashes, people have done that. I believe Colby gave Kay some of JJ's. I honestly don't know how i feel about that, as far as if I'd ever do it.

Yeah, I have actually a lot of mail carriers in my family too. Most recently retired. A sister, a cousin, another cousin. I'm probably missing someone, we had many where it was their career. Or actually worked at the desk in the PO. I've never talked to them about this particular subject though.

I can see the practicality of it I guess sometimes. Pretty sure though in my family if possible someone would go get them. And take it pretty seriously.

Interesting subject, if a bit of a hard one.

I think point is though Lori just was here you go...

They failed everyone by not putting these two away when Charles was killed!

And I think for many, IF they can, they would rather get them and accompany them. Look how many times Kay and Larry have traveled to be there or see JJ, or for trial, or for anything.

Law and Crime verdict watch. 50 mins so far. Lets have a poll. I say 12 hours so tomorrow after lunch sometime.

I am still hopeful for today. If they are even close to a verdict and agreeing, it keeps them from coming back another day. And it is only 1:20 there. I guess they might decide then agree to sleep on it so I'm not again the thought of tomorrow, that happens at times. Plus it is just a single charge....

But yeah, I can believe today or tomorrow. If it goes past that, i will figure there is some problem or one juror at least having trouble with it.

I saw many in chats yesterday thinking they would be back yesterday. I thought that was pretty out there being they didn't even get the case until late in the day and MOST juries don't like to look like they took no time at all unless of course a slam dunk case FULL of obvious evidence. This is a bit different and is more of a connect the dots.

It's early today yet though and who knows... I can see though where if they decide today if later they won't want to make everyone come back late in the day.

Nate has a feed up too. People are chatting in there. Was in there for a bit.

Someone just told me there is a verdict! However, I want to caution I saw people claiming earlier in chats that same thing and there wasn't. Has anyone else heard that?
