IN BRANDON PERRY: Missing from Indianapolis, IN - 26 May 2024 - Age 35 *ARREST*

I can't help but think of the two semi drivers both in the Midwest depending on what some think of as Midwest. This is IN, one was in IA and the other guy in SD I think BUT was from MN....

It isn't clear though that this was a semi, just a truck with a trailer with tools and that could be a small trailer.

Probably absolutely no connection but it did remind me of the others. All male adults gone missing with trucks found where not expected.

There is NO reason for me to relate them at all and not enough detail other than it just makes me thing of the other ones. In the others they were both carrying livestock I believe. So not the same at all that way and this was probably a personal pickup here and a work trailer and not a semi. Guessing but again entirely different. AND in a city, a BIG city, others were not.

We don't see a LOT of missing men cases I guess is the other thing.

I hope they find him safe. It's a city, cameras should be plentiful at least here and there IF they can go canvas and gather all quickly enough.

Seen enough Indianapolis cases to not be impressed. Don't know if it is terrible PD, lack of funding and manpower and too many murders daily and then other crimes or what but back some years ago I followed more than a few and NOT impressed.

According to court documents filed on June 5, police used surveillance video of local business, DNA tests and cell phone tracking to gather probable cause to arrest David Perry.

Video surveillance shows David Perry purchasing a red dolly, a dust buster, small fan, seat covers, a candle, a belt and a small gun safe from the Beech Grove Walmart shortly after he last reported seeing his father.

More than six hours later, David Perry's cell phone can be tracked to New Harmony Road under I-69. This is where White River crosses under I-69, according to court documents.

Another four hours later, David Perry is seen on surveillance parking and leaving his father's truck in the parking lot of Mikie's Pub in the 5100 block of Emerson Avenue, according to court documents.

According to court documents, in examining the scene on New Harmony Road, investigators located tire tracks that match the tires of Brandon Perry's truck. Another set of markings match the wheels on the missing Republic trash can missing from Brandon Perry's home.

With the use of chemical agent Bluestar, investigators were able to uncover what was believed to be a large presence of blood in the bed of Brandon Perry's truck, according to court documents.

August trial set for Indiana teen accused of killing father

A jury trial has been set for August in the case of an Indiana teenager accused of killing his father.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is still looking for the body of 35-year-old HVAC technician Brandon Perry, though they believe that his son, 17-year-old David Perry, dumped him in the White River near Martinsville.

Officers are still running constant patrol at the river as well as the house where authorities say Brandon Perry was killed. A police officer who pulled into the driveway of the house Friday declined to answer a NewsNation reporter’s questions.

NewsNation local affiliate WXIN reports that Brandon Perry’s sister had told authorities he was missing. A recently filed probable cause affidavit shows that she had found blood on the bottom of her brother’s mattress, with investigators later finding signs of blood on the basement stairs as well.

A cadaver dog pointed police to a burn pit on the property, where inside, they found Brandon Perry’s charred license, damaged credit cards and a business card.

Court documents, according to WXIN, say that Brandon Perry’s sister told police that David told her “his dad is in the White River and that he was in a trash can.”

David Perry, who is charged with murder and dangerous possession of a firearm, is currently being held at a juvenile detention center. He had his first court appearance just yesterday. Because David Perry is a juvenile, police did not release a booking photo, though he is still being tried as an adult.

How can you kill your own father?
It certainly seems planned out. How long had he been planning it? WHY had he been planning it? Did it really come from just an "argument"?
Why is he willingly admitting to his aunt what he did?
Troubled kid? History of bad behavior? Previous family issues? Instances of domestic violence?

Brandon wouldn’t be reported missing until his sister contacted police. After heading to Brandon’s home, she ended up finding a “large amount of blood” on the bottom of Brandon’s mattress.

Investigators later found signs of blood on the basement stairs. Cadaver dogs would end up indicating on a makeshift burn pile in the side yard of the residence. Searching the burn pile, police found Brandon Perry’s license along with damaged credit cards and a business card.
Police noted that Brandon’s son, David, had lived at the home for three full days without contacting anyone about Brandon’s disappearance.

On May 27, before Brandon Perry was even reported missing, his work truck and trailer were found on Thompson Road near Five Points at the Ashland neighborhood. At the time, police were unable to reach Brandon Perry when they tried to contact him about the discovery.

Investigators reviewed footage from a pub located near where the truck was found. In the footage, a “skinny male” who reportedly resembles David Perry “in both stature and [gait]” is seen walking away from the truck.

Clothes worn by the figure in the footage also reportedly were similar to clothes David wore or owned, police said.

Investigators would go on to find that a handgun, bought by Brandon and gifted to David for a birthday present, was missing. Also missing was a blue Republic trash can.

A large amount of trash was found on the ground where the trash can normally is kept, according to court docs.

Do I have it right? Buy your minor son a gun for a birthday present and he shoots you with it?

A teenage idiot who left a trail a mile wide it seems.

Throw away the key. Smdh.
