Brian Camp on Trial for death of intruder *NOT GUILTY*

This dude should not be on trial. He did what anyone would do in a similar circumstance.
Sounds like it was the second shot, 8 minutes later, was the issue.

Yeah, tonight on Closing Arguments they had a human lie detector to test the truth of his testimony.

She believes he's being truthful in his testimony.

I'm on my phone and don't want to keep typing so much on it. I'll write more later.

Man learns his fate for killing his lover's ex after jilted maniac broke into their home in dead of night

A Massachusetts man who killed his girlfriend's jilted ex-lover when he broke into the couple's house in a violent home invasion breathed a sigh of relief as he was acquitted on manslaughter charges.

At the conclusion of his trial on Monday, jurors found that Camp acted in self defense and acquitted him on voluntary manslaughter charges.

Did not follow this but the quick read tells me plenty to form a bit of an opinion. He is the ONE who does not belong there. Of course if he got dressed, and did all those things and took a second shot, then if true, that is a bit different, however, what was he still doing there? Or was he injured and could not leave? I guess I would need to read to know that.

I'm sorry but to me the person breaking in and not welcome is the problem. People should feel safe in their own homes. First and foremost.

I guess I don't know enough though.

Now in an flip side entirely, but similar in some respects, was Charles Vallow lured to Lori's home imo picking up JJ, etc. The part that is similar is ALEX after allgedly being struck by the bat I believe when it was, had time to walk down the hall, get his gun and come back and shoot Charles. And they went with "their" story of self defense and I don't agree at all and didn't when first heard it. They try to have everyone forget that part now and now Lori is charged with it, but that is not self defense. He could have fled just as easily and it was not his home, etc., etc., etc.

They are totally different as in my opinion he was lured and it is all a lie but that time gap of doing that can be a big deal.

I guess I don't know enough on this one to really comment more and so I try not to when I don't know. But it seems a jury found him not guilty and that speaks volumes to me.

Was the guy capable of getting out after the first shot? I guess would be the big question I have. Don't know if I will get around to looking further or not. Shall see.

In general though you should be able to protect yourself and your own when someone does this. Was the trial televised? Might be interested in watching if I ever have the time.

Only happened in on wasn't sure if new or old or one I had followed before. Trying not to do new ones.

I think if one understood the level and impact of the psychological trauma that young man experienced, they'd agree that the jury got it right.
