KY CRYSTAL ROGERS: Missing from Bardstown, KY - 3 July 2015 - Age 35 *ARREST*

The parents of a Kentucky woman last seen 10 days ago suspect foul play in her disappearance.

Crystal Rogers, 35, a mother of five, was last seen by her live-in boyfriend, Brooks Houck, on July 3, according to the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office.

Houck has said he had nothing to with Rogers’ disappearance. He has been extremely cooperative with investigators, police said, and he took a polygraph test.

A Kentucky police officer has been fired for allegedly tampering with an investigation regarding the missing girlfriend of his brother, who has just been named the only suspect in her disappearance.

Crystal Rogers, 35, has been missing since July 3. Her boyfriend, Brooks Houck, has claimed the last time he saw the mother of five was the night before, playing games on her phone.

The only clue in Rogers disappearance was her maroon Chevy Impala, which was found unlocked and with a flat tire on Bluegrass Parkway on Saturday.

Inside were her keys, purse and uncharged phone.

Nick Houck was a Bardstown police officer. He was fired for interfering in the Crystal Rogers investigation.
I wonder if there's a reason that they assigned the same special prosecutor to Ellis' murder as they did to Crystal and her dad? All at the same time, it appears.

I don't necessarily think the Netherland murders are connected, but I believe the others are.

Oh yeah, check out this quote:

"It is very rare to have all these cases, that are potentially connected, in a small community like Nelson County," Assistant Special Agent in Charge Brian Jones said in a 2020 interview. "I think that potentially solving any of these cases could bring resolution to the other ones."

And they admitted that he was not assigned to the Netherland murder case.

Crystal's mom is trying to get custody of Crystal's child that she had with Houck. I don't think she's ever had contact with him since Crystal was murdered, so they might let Houck's mother keep him. That's my personal opinion. His mom also plead the fifth in a previous hearing regarding this case. What a web.

I suggest watching "The Disappearance of Crystal Rogers". It's available on "Peacock" And "Oxygen True Crime". I suggest "Peacock". There are commercials for 60 seconds. But on "Oxygen" Tbere are more. And longer. And Eventhough it's "On Demand". You aren't allowed to fast forward. Uh uh. That's ridiculous. I hate commercials. And forcing you. I have a problem with that.Sorry. Anyway. It's 5 episodes.

Seeing her mom in the 5 part documentary. I really like her. The loss she suffered. Crystal. Then her husband. There is no way IMO they aren't connected. Shooting the father was a very brazen act. Took alot of arrogance. But doesn't seem anything was done about it. IMO. He was simply killed to not continue advocating, Speaking and searching.

Thanks! I'll look for it.

Information on Lawson. He was in a motorcycle accident in 2021 and is currently confined to a wheelchair.

Karma's a b***h! I can say. Alot of bad things happen to good people. Not in this case!

During the interview, the investigator asks Houck about a phone call between him and a man named Steve Lawson on the night of Rogers’ disappearance.

Houck can be heard telling the detective that Steve Lawson worked for him. During the interview, Houck calls Steve Lawson back and asks him to recount what they talked about that night.

During that call, Steve Lawson said that Houck had told him that he’d call Rogers to ask her about something work-related. But the detective points out that Houck had told police she was with him at the time of the call with Steve Lawson.

“Okay, so that begs the question in my mind, if she's in the truck next to you when he called, why would you need to call her about getting numbers for rental properties?” the detective asks Houck in the video.

“Being that late at night, we're headed to the house, I just wouldn't - she normally’s not going deal with stuff that late,” Houck responds.

The above is interesting because Houck contradicts himself in that early interview. And some are saying that the "Lawson" that he talked to that night is the father of the Lawson who was arrested, but I don't know if that's been confirmed.

Thank you for the information @Kimster

Free or nearly free on demand streaming has commercials you can't ff through. Most also have paid ad free subscriptions.
