I am having no luck finding East Aiken Street thus far. I have found this is a dying town/village. The population today is estimated at another 100 people downward in total.

Yes, ,what is the truth? Did friend take him or no? Did she drop him off or no? Why at that location?

I wonder if we have a custody thing here... Was he picked up maybe at the father's and allegedly brought to the mother maybe...? Hence, the two different locations...? A holiday... Visitation...?

Well it could be my ineptness but I only come up with a 101 East Aitken in Peck, MI which is some ways south of Deckerville. So this woman picks up the child from mom/mom's in Peck MI and then drops him with mom in Deckerville MI? Huh?

Clearly, I need to let go of this for now... The only other thing I have found is some FB remarks on a Find Me kind of site... Just a few and they are not upbeat...

Regardless this child has been missing for four days. There is something big time wrong here.

Things becoming a bit more clear...

4-year-old reported missing when authorities came to take custody

The Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Aitken road in Elk Township late Monday with Michigan Child Protective Services to take custody of five children. Police say 4-year-old Elias Joseph Krajenke was not there, however.

Krajanke’s mother told authorities that she does not know where he is.

Investigators have checked several relatives’ homes this week, but have not located him.

At approximately 11 p.m. Monday, the Sanilac County Sheriff Department assisted the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services with the removal of five children from a residence on Aitken Road in Elk Township, according to the St. Clair County Sheriff Department.

Elias was not at the residence when officials arrived. Kelley said she did not know where the child was, and he was entered as a missing person.

Multiple family residences have been checked, and the child has yet to be located, the sheriff department said Wednesday morning.

Sanilac County Undersheriff Brad Roff said Kelley has been questioned by police, but have found nothing to indicate there was foul play. She has had prior contact with police and the department of health and human services, he said.

I'm still trying to get a handle on what's going on. So, they went there to remove the kids and discovered Elias wasn't among them? ACK.

You and I were posting at the same time!

So...CPS comes to take custody, but Elias isn't there. Mom says...

She doesn't know where he is.
And also says, a friend picked him up on July 4 and didn't bring him back.

The friend says she did give him back, which does seem to indicate that she did have him...

Did the friend NOT give him back and is keeping him hidden from CPS? If so, why just Elias and not the four other children?
Did the friend not actually ever have him but is lying for mom?
Did the friend actually give him back like she said and he was harmed between Saturday evening and Monday evening?
