According to the TBI, Evelyn Boswell was reportedly last seen on December 26, 2019. She was not reported as a missing child until February 18.

Sounds similar to other cases that didn't end well for the Child. I don't remember the exact cases. But just one case the mother said she left the girl with a babysitter they couldn't prove exsisted. Was years ago. Girl is still missing.

It sounds like Casey Anthony but they did find the child's body after some time. Yes, I don't have much hope in this case, and I always try to.

This sounds to me like no one reported her missing, not a parent, etc. Kind of like Kaylee Anthony, Amiah Robertson, Tylee and JJ.

Here is one just a bit different. It says late November/early December so the dates would be different. It also said family members have not seen her since then. And I believe it said that the parents are involved in the investigation (but leaves it unclear what that means, helping out or being looked at?).

It seems to be odd like they are just giving the news to the media today? And news is still getting details?

I'm guessing because they are looking at the Parents limiting the info. Until they really know more. Again I am guessing they Lawyered up.

A Tennessee toddler hasn't been seen since December but was reported missing only this week

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued an Amber Alert for 15-month-old Evelyn Mae Boswell.

"The child's mother, Megan 'Maggie' Boswell, has been involved in the investigation along with the father, Ethan Perry, who is active duty in the military, stationed in Louisiana," the office said in an emailed statement to Insider.

The young mom was vilified on Facebook by users demanding to know where her daughter is. She hasn't posted on the platform since September, when she uploaded several pictures of Evelyn and shared posts about missing children.

On September 6, Boswell posted about challenges in her life and Evelyn's "unconditional love."

"I'm not the best mom in the world, but I try so hard for this little beauty," she wrote, adding: "You can say whatever you want about me being a young mom, but I promise you my life is so much better with this angel. My life wasnt ruined when I had her, she gave me a purpose and a reason to wake up everyday and to better myself. Theres no love like the love from your child!"

Perry wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday: "I'm currently working with authorities trying to find Evelyn. I can't say much more than that at the moment. If anybody knows anything please message me."

Capt. Andy Seabolt, a spokesman for the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, told Insider that a family member who is not one of Evelyn's parents reported her as missing. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued an Amber Alert for the child.

The ex-boyfriend of the mother of a missing Tennessee toddler is speaking out after he said social media users began spreading false accusations about him, amid a frantic AMBER Alert search for 1-year-old Evelyn Boswell.


Hunter Wood told News 11 that he dated Megan “Maggie” Boswell in December, but only for a few weeks. Boswell is the mother of Evelyn. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said Evelyn was last seen on December 26, 2019, but not reported missing until February 18, 2020.


As CrimeOnline previously reported, Boswell, along with Evelyn’s father, Ethan Perry, are reportedly involved in the investigation. Authorities have not disclosed where Evelyn was last seen or which family members saw her. According to the Kingsport Times-News, Perry is on military active duty and stationed in Louisiana.
