MSHP cancels Amber Alert , two abducted McDonald County children found safe

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has issued an Amber Alert for two children that were reportedly abducted in McDonald County, Missouri.
Police said Genesis Padron, 8, and Samuel Padron, 4, were abducted and were heading in an unknown direction in a 2009 Ford Flex.
Police said Hilda Melendez, 35, is wanted in connection with the abduction. Police said statements lead police to believe the children are in danger.
Police said Melendez is a non-custodial parent who assaulted a female that was watching the children and took them from the residence.
Authorities said the grandmother and vehicle were found in Stroud, Oklahoma. The mother and children are now believed to be in a cream Kia Soul with an unknown Oklahoma registration.
