Evidence of a healed traumatic lesion on the skull suggests this condition may have been preceded by head trauma; this would have resulted in the victim maintaining a leftward tilt of the head.

I respectfully disagree. She doesn't fit the age range. I don't see a resemblance. And it doesn't appear Anna had a neck condition. But I do believe Anna was murdered.

Another reason is Anna went missing in 1992. This Woman's head was found in 1993. According to her Aunt she doesn't believe she left on her own accord. And the Woman's head was still recognizable. No note of her body ever being found. Horrific. No missing persons report to match this Woman. Just throwing her head from the road. I don't know if I lean more towards a domestic situation or an opportunistic killer. I guess opportunity. No real effort to conceal the evidence. But yet where is her body?. Strange. Were they afraid of Fingerprints?. But not of Dentals?.

"The Jefferson County Illinois Sheriff’s Office and Redgrave Research Forensic Services have confirmed the identity of “Ina Jane Doe,” an unidentified woman whose remains were discovered 29 years ago.

Susan Lund, born 29 Nov 1967, was last seen by her family on Christmas Eve of 1992 when she reportedly left her family home in Clarksville, Tennessee to walk to a local grocery store. Her husband reported her missing soon after. A multi-agency search was conducted over several months. The official missing persons case was closed, but Sue’s family did not stop looking for her."

"Redgrave’s genealogy team arrived at a potential match within a day of beginning to research the DNA matches. The potential ID was passed to law enforcement who then followed up with family members of Susan Lund. A confirmatory DNA sample was provided by a sibling for direct comparison to Ina Jane Doe. On March 6, 2022 it was confirmed via one-to-one comparison that the identity of Ina Jane Doe is Susan Lund."
