The FBI Houston Crimes Against Children squad is searching for a missing 13-year-old girl who was last seen in northeast Houston.

The FBI said Leilana Graham was last seen on Sept. 20 at 10510 Rockaway Dr.

Authorities said the teenager was wearing a white and yellow striped shirt, unknown colored pants, black shoes and a clear backpack.

Graham is approximately 5′3″ tall, weighs 147 lbs, has black hair and brown eyes.

Around 8:20 p.m. an Amber Alert was issued for Graham. Authorities said the teen may have been abducted or a victim of sex trafficking.

The FBI is searching for Sha Kendrick Smith in connection to Graham. Authorities said Smith may be driving a blue 2008 GMC truck with the license plate 28809T1.

Leilana Graham was last seen on September 20th at 10500 blocks on Rockaway Drive. Authorities believe she is at risk with 22-year-old Sha Kendrick Edward Smith.

The FBI is searching for Leilani Graham, Pacific Islander, female, 13 years old, 5'3", 147 lbs, black hair, brown eyes, last seen wearing a white and yellow striped shirt, unknown pants, black shoes, and carrying a clear backpack.
Police are looking for Sha Kendrick Edward Smith, Black, male, 22 years old, 6'01", 250 lbs, black hair, brown eyes in connection with her abduction. The suspect is driving a blue, 2008 GMC truck with a TX license plate number of 28809T1. The suspect was last heard from in Houston, TX.
Law enforcement officials believe this child to be in grave or immediate danger. If you have any information regarding this abduction, call the FBI at 713-693-5000.

AMBER Alert issued for teen believed to be sex trafficking victim​

The FBI Houston division is asking for the public’s help locating a 13-year-old girl who has been missing since last month. Authorities said they believe Leilana Graham is a sex trafficking victim.

Leilana was last seen on Sept. 20 in the 10500 block of Rockaway Drive in northeast Houston. The FBI believes she is in danger and is possibly with 22-year-old Sha Kendrick Edward Smith.

An AMBER Alert was issued for Leilana on Tuesday night.

What victims go through​

Jennifer Hohman works with sex trafficking victims and knows what Leilana could be going through.

"And the trafficker's going to keep her very close to him and to basically groom and teach her or have someone else teach her that she's not allowed to look directly at anyone in the eyes. He's going to tell her to how to act, how to respond and she will always love him if somebody asked or question she will always look to him for the answer. The average age of entry into being trafficked is 12 to 16 years old," Hohman said.

Federal investigators had named 22-year-old Sha Kendrick Edward Smith as a suspect and he was arrested Thursday morning as well. The FBI says he has been charged with sex trafficking minors.
