Amber Alert canceled after 4 kids found safe, suspect arrested

Authorities have deactivated an Amber Alert for four missing children after they were found safe Saturday night.

Amber Alert issued for 4 kids abducted in Denver by non-custodial parent

Authorities issued an Amber Alert Saturday for four children abducted by a non-custodial parent in Denver.

Lino Pacheco, 30, is suspect of abducting his four children: Menika Pacheco, 9; Dominic Marks, 8; Nathaviya Pacheco, 11; and Lino Pacheco Jr.

Police say Lino Pacheco does not have legal custody of the four children.

They were last seen Saturday in the 4400 block of North Vine Street, police said.

They are believed to be traveling in a red 2002 Acura TL with an off colored trunk secured with bungee cords. There are no license plates on the vehicle.

Okay. What in the heck is going on? I can't be the only one who is noticing the rash of these things in the past month or more... Is it that something changed and they are now all amber alerts when it is a parent, called in by the other parent or what? And the wording is generally strange, like in this one "legal" custody. Is it that things were maybe in a court process with custody or visitation or more and Covid stopped the court hearings and processes? Is one parent keeping kids from another more so? Is it due to agencies? Is it simply being reported by media more?

Prayers they will all be located and found safe!
