Lisa was last seen at her home in the 3600 block of North Lister Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri on October 3, 2011. Her mother, Deborah Bradley, put her to bed in her crib with her pacifier, blanket and some toys.

Deborah last saw her daughter at either 6:40 or 10:30 p.m. (Accounts differ.) That evening, she was also caring for the Lisa's two older half-brothers, who were asleep in another room. She later admitted she'd been drinking wine that night and had gotten drunk. She was also taking prescription medication for anxiety.

Lisa's father, Jeremy Irwin, an electrician, came home from work at approximately 4:00 the next morning and they discovered Lisa was gone. Several lights in the house were on, Lisa's bedroom window was open, the front door was unlocked and three cellular phones were reportedly missing.

Lisa's parents called 911 to report her disappearance shortly at 4:00 a.m. An extensive search of the immediate area turned up no sign of the baby.

Authorities stated Lisa's mother and father were less than cooperative with the investigation, something Deborah and Jeremy denied. They were engaged to be married at the time of Lisa's disappearance, although Deborah was still legally married to another man, and had a six-year-old son by him.

Deborah and her husband had been separated for about four years by 2010, and he was serving in the Army. Her husband stated he didn't believe Deborah would have harmed Lisa or been involved in her disappearance.

Three different witnesses saw a man walking down the road about three miles from Lisa's home at approximately 4:00 a.m. that night, carrying a baby dressed only in a diaper. It's unclear whether the sightings are connected to Lisa's case.

Authorities haven't named any suspects in the child's disappearance. Her parents have stated they believe she was abducted from her home late on October 3 or early on October 4, possibly by a person who wanted to raise a baby. Lisa's case remains unsolved.

Lisa has a birthmark on her right outer thigh. Two of her bottom teeth had erupted by the time of her disappearance, and she had a small bug bite under her left ear. Her nickname is Pumpkin Pie. She was last known to be wearing purple pants and a purple shirt with kittens on it.

It's been eight years since Baby Lisa disappeared

Eight years ago Friday, a baby disappeared from her Kansas City, Missouri, home and has never been found.

Lisa Irwin was only 10 months old when she vanished – her case has never been solved.

Her parents have always said they believe Lisa was kidnapped and might still be alive somewhere.

Authorities have released an age-progressed photo showing what they believe she might look like today.

For now, the case remains unsolved, and police continue to search for leads to help find Baby Lisa.

Lisa Irwin's parents: 'We have no reason to believe she is not alive'

The parents of Lisa Irwin, also known as Baby Lisa, are hoping someone sees a new age-progressed photo of their little girl and speaks up so that she can be reunited with her family.

The new age-progressed photo released Wednesday by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children shows what Lisa Irwin may look like around the ages of seven to eight.

In an interview with 41 Action News Friday, her parents, Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, said they were anxious to get her name back in the headlines to remind people that she is still out there.

“She's got to be in the public, you know, hopefully in school, and if she's not, she's being homeschooled, or something like that. She's at least going to the grocery store,” Bradley said. “Maybe she's with people that don't know who she is. Don't know she's been abducted. Don't know that she has a family looking for her.”

She added, “I as her mother have always felt with my own intuition that she is alive, and every bit of evidence and information says that as well.”

Lisa’s parents also described the emotional toll the case has taken on their family.

“It's a constant roller coaster of emotions,” Jeremy Irwin said. “Every holiday, you know, her birthdays, the anniversary of her abduction, the age progression, it's all really tough.”

Bradley is holding out hope.

“It is really hard when we do get a tip and it ends up not leading to her or it's not fruitful to the information that we already,” she said. “You know, we need to finish putting this puzzle together so that we can find her, where she's at now, and get her back.”

Just watched a special on Baby Lisa on the ID Channel. They really did not highlight any definitive evidence that the parents were involved. I searched google but didn't really find anything other than a ex-friend of the mom who says that she has a "dark side". I am curious if there was ever any other substantiated evidence against either parent? There was evidence against a potential young man with drug issues and his ex-gf (a cell call that was made from one of the stolen phones and an eye-witness who said they saw him with a baby walking down the road). Was that guy ever firmly ruled out?

I remember feeling that this baby was stolen and sold for drug money, but I don't really remember the details. This baby girl could really still be out there living life with no idea who she is.

Thoughts? Details about parents or other potential perp that you remember?

none, yet every single person connected to Jersey/Megan have all done time since then for major felonies. Every. Single. One.

and then the fact that the usually around, unemployed, broke Jersey AND Dane both were seen the evening of and then both of them suddenly disappeared for a week that very evening.

I knew this case better back when. Can I ask were the phones stolen ever found or pinged? Were the baby's purple pants and shirt ever found (asking this because someone was seen with a baby in just a diaper). And who are Jersey and Dane and Megan? Friends of the family?

I heard one line about infant clothing found in the dumpster that was burned that same night, but nothing that definitely said "yes, these were Lisa's clothes". Jersey and Megan were just local druggies, and my understanding is that they had no connection to the Irwin family.

I also wondered if/what the phone pings showed.

phones pinged withing 1/3 mile of the house, then all were shut off (shortly after the call to Megan's phone IIRC). Jersey was Megan's ex and she was staying at a house that Dane was staying at at the time of the phone call and stated that Dane had possession of her phone at the time the call would have happened.

Interesting note. The house that "the man with a baby" was seen going through the gate to the back yard sits directly behind where Megan/Dane were staying. From the back of that yard, you can look directly into the town home they were staying at.

Thank you both!

November 29, 2020
"Vanished from the Crib" - Baby Lisa Irwin goes missing from her crib in the middle of the night. Stolen cell phones and a disturbing debit card charge on the parent's account only adds to the mystery.

Real Life Nightmare will stream live for subscribers via CNNgo (at CNN.com/go and via CNNgo apps for Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, Samsung Smart TV and Android TV) and on the CNN mobile apps for iOS and Android. Additionally, all episodes will be available on demand the day after their broadcast premiere via cable/satellite systems.

This case is a real puzzle to me I don't think either parent had anything to do with her disappearance but I don't trust the neighborhood criminal. I have read some articles and watched the ID story about the details surrounding this case and it seems like a stranger abduction and Jersey would be a good suspect in my opinion. I wonder if they ever completely ruled him out and if he did take her what could he have done with her, is it really possible he could have sold her to someone? That seems far fetched but then again not much amazes me anymore with these cases. I would think if he just left her somewhere she would have been found early on but then again we don't know how far away he could have taken her or if he even took her at all. Definitely sad that she has not been found either way.

This weekend.

KC mystery surrounding disappearance of Baby Lisa to air on HLN’s ‘Real Life Nightmare’

The mystery surrounding the disappearance of Baby Lisa from a Kansas City, North, home in October 2011 will be the topic of HLN’s docu-series “Real Life Nightmare.”

The episode, titled “Vanished from the Crib,” will air at 9 p.m. Sunday and includes new interviews with parents Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, as well as others.

“It’s been pure hell,” Bradley said in an interview. “It’s literally a nightmare and it just seems like you just can’t wake up from it.”

There have been no updates or changes in the case, said Capt. David Jackson, a spokesman for the Kansas City Police Department. It is still an open investigation.

These links really didn't put any new information out there but I was hoping to find some new shred of evidence somewhere about where this little girl could be now. I watched a dateline episode recently about a woman that kidnapped when she was a child and she was raised by the woman that took her she didn't learn until after the woman's death that she had been kidnapped. She was reunited with her family and siblings she never knew she had I think it was something like 30 years she had been missing. So that does still give hope to cases like this one she might be out there somewhere living with people she thinks is her family.

I also wonder this more strongly with the cases like this where an infant is taken, too. Unless it’s by a parent that has been found dead by suicide later, which also happens way too many times.
