It appears he was. Missing from a vehicle that went into the river. But he also had gunshot wounds...
I'm curious to learn more.
But apparently he was erroneously ruled out as being himself at the time they found him (just 10 days later). For a long time, a lot of people were thinking he may have been connected to a string of murders in Lewiston, Idaho due to his gunshots and location.
