An Amber Alert was issued out of Laclede County on Tuesday at 5:03 p.m. for a newborn baby girl who was abducted by two white males "supposedly" taking the infant to a hospital for postnatal care but they never made it there.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a man named Mike and another unidentified man were "supposedly" taking a newborn infant girl to an unknown hospital in the Laclede County area for postnatal care.
They took the child at 2:20 p.m. from the area of Missouri 32 and Route U in Lebanon. The highway patrol said the men never made it to the hospital and their direction of travel is unknown.
Mike is described as a 45-year-old white male with a light grey beard. The unidentified man is described as a white bald male. The child is described as a newborn white female child.
The men are believed to be in a blue soft-top Jeep Wrangler with unknown license plates. The soft top is black.
