Woman escapes kidnapper in Excelsior Springs, MO - Linked to other cases?

No offense to those that live there but WTH is going on in Missouri? This makes me think of the other one, the Rainwater case. Both hint of women held hostage and tortured and of multiple victims. There has been talk since Rainwater of a lot of missing teens/women there, etc. This poor woman was terrified and clearly held. Just the details out are horrible and the hints are there of far worse details of what she suffered. She also talks of her "friends" not making it...

tolja there were more rural areas I would be scared to walk alone here in than most city areas. I am trying to figure out where I've heard this guys name before. If we find out he's a truck driver, then I know where I've heard of his name and would open up an entirely new facet to this.

They sound like torture chamber kind of things. Hope there isn't some network of guys like this there. In Rainwater weren't there two at least hunting for women like at Walmarts and such?

What is this guy's name? I know it is known but LE was waiting until charges filed to confirm. I heard it once an I too thought it sounded really familiar but I can't recall it already.

he has been named and charged. More charges coming, most likely

They also just showed a live shot and wow, Excelsior Springs PD is not messing around! They had the entire property fenced off with temporary fencing, not the standard 'crime scene' tape. Actual fencing.

Hunting. That's great. Torture chamber. Reminds me of Lake and Ng.

Geez. Another possible truck driver.

I noticed you said there are some areas you would rather walk in the city at night than some places. Is this one a bad one?.I've heard of the town, I just don't know when or how.
That one is much better than a lot of them. It's even worse in the more rural areas though. This happened in the middle of a residential area, but in the "rougher" part of the little town.

They also haven't mentioned where she was from. This bugs me to no end with my thoughts of wondering where I've heard his name from and if it was from a trucking company. I know that name, but can't figure out from where, but when you do payroll and payables, you see so many names.
