JOSHUA "JJ" VALLOW, TYLEE RYAN, TAMMY DAYBELL, & CHARLES VALLOW: State of Idaho/Arizona vs. Lori & Chad Daybell *GUILTY*

Police seem to be no closer to finding 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan than they were when this story began months ago.

Since that time, the story has gained international attention as it’s taken twists and turns involving a purported cult, dead spouses, delusions of divinity and preparing for the end of the world. Despite all the angles, and the ever-growing number of people related to the case, the facts remain essentially the same as when it was first announced.

The two children remain missing and the parents, Lori (Vallow) Daybell, and her new husband, Chad Daybell, refuse to disclose their whereabouts to police. Both have been named persons of interest in the disappearance of the children. Law enforcement is also investigating the deaths of the Daybells’ previous respective spouses, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell, though neither Chad nor Lori have been named suspects in those cases.

I think its because we've been through one trial, but I'm getting bored with the same testimony. But I still am compelled to read it. Ha ha. Anyone else?

This and her trial were just too much for me. Anyone who kills their own children is nothing I want to watch.

:sigh:

Well in the interest in trying to catch up with what I had to and haven't but made efforts, etc. and in trying to check or get up to date on other cases, I have left this one last night and today for last. I'd however, listen to a LOT today and heard all the ending and a lot of most of Mel Gibb's testimony. While I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Nate, Lnda has been a great channel to watch the little I have been able to as when they go on break or to side bar or anything, she can fill in the time talking to all live. She did have to leave to pick up her son today after school and told all to chat but she has aired every minute all day every day and been on herself as well throughout with everyone. Other than needing to grab something to eat, pee, pick up son, etc. lol.

Nate can't of course as he is in the courtroom, do the same.

Both are doing a daily summary of some type and I try to catch both but am still a day or two behind on that but was keeping up. Actually I think I only missed one of Nate's and am up on Linda's can't even recall already.

Boy the ending and motion/Radcliff thing. Wow. I am busy and wiped and don't have it in me right now to comment, I am sure many will be grateful but what a day in this case.

Regarding Tylee, Tammy was at work, because he texted her about the "racoon" he had killed and was burying as well as burning some "limbs" at the same time. The fact that he was actually burying a dismembered teenage girl is now what has become evident.

Regarding JJ, there was no burning but he was also buried n Chad's back yard and covered with boards. Not sure where Tammy was that day, unless that was when she visited her family.

I don't believe he will testify to enable him to be questioned about either of these occasions.
I thought she was at her mother's/sister's on that trip. Was it at work? As far as JJ that's not when I thought she was on the trip but I guess it doesn't matter but even so where were the kids... If all went on in daylight and on week days I guess at school but not sure that was the timing of all...

10:10 a.m. Interesting development during this break. Those of us in the gallery were held back and reminded to follow courtroom conduct rules because a phone alarm went off this morning. As Melanie Gibb was in the hallway for the break, a lady waiting in line to get inside tells me a man ran after Gibb to serve her with papers. Gibb refused to take it and John Prior came out of the courtroom saying, ‘Where is he? Where is he?’ Prior then told Gibb she has to take the papers. The prosecutors came out and said she can’t be served a subpoena while on the stand. It appears Prior wants Gibb as a defense witness too.
10:30 a.m. We are back in the courtroom. All of the attorneys have been summoned to Judge Boyce’s chambers.

NOW WHAT is Prior doing? Good grief. I thought there was a time limit on how long you could subpoena witnesses. And for crying out loud, Prior didn't think of Gibb before NOW?
From what I heard he was subpoenaing her to testify for the defense and had been unable to get her served prior. Not sticking up for defiense but the two Mels know their stuff and how to avoid papers being served.

I am going to cut myself a break and not even try to read all the Tweets. I hard the vast amount of relevant testimony today anyhow, heard tone, speed, interruption, and so on. While reading it is great and I certainly can't watch all, it doesn't replace listening to it when one can. Thus far Mel G has mostly handled Prior digging at her fairly well and he has not gone wild yet but it was interesting to say the least...

All know I am never defense sided mostly and sure am not in this case I find all guilty but she honestly is not the best witness with her I forgets and selective memory. It works great when she needs it to but when a problem which is often it is can't recall, etc. Now I don't think that would turn a jury since there is plenty of other evidence against Chad but if she was the key case and only person or "evidence" in the case to convict either Chad or Lori, she would not be enough imo. The same sh*t I recall from back then went on on her mixup of days at Lori's and so on. Prior did try to point that out, call that out.

And he tried to make it where David wanted to buy land there etc. and why they went and so on and so on.

She did have to admit to lying as she at first did claim she had JJ or backed up their story, etc.

And while some was a repeat, it was still interesting. I had heard the call she had recorded with Chad and Lori probably five times over back when but had not heard it in some time. And I listed to it as a juror would... And recalled that Chad does know how to talk and not just be a silent toad.

I read the tweets when I can't watch and appreciate them here but nothing replaces watching. Mel has not gotten overly snotty yet but came close once or twiice and Prior is being oh so respectful lol... It's kind of hilarious honestly.

And I LOVE that Linda is on this and is BACK, watching it with her is fun and worth it. I dind't get to see or listen to every moment but a fair amount today in between a lot of sh*t to deal with.

Even though we all know the story, not a bit of it was dull or old news imo. Not in listening anyhow.

And boy the after with the Ratcliffe stuff. Linda replayed it. So listened TWICE. WOW.

I had one more point but forgot it at the moment. May come to me. I will wait for a moment and see.... Or add later it looks like as the moment didn't work, if I think of. Not going to try to read all tweets as I saw most live which is better when one can imo. Nor try to catch up with all. Will likely try to catch up on both Linda and Nate's summaries and any I missed if I get time as Al ot still going on here I have to take care of.

man I wish I could recall. I know I was more impressed with Boyce then I ever have been, usually I am not a fan, but that wasn't my other point... I think I t was more direct case related...

Oh wait. This is a new thing.

If anyone here hasn't listened to this, listen to it. TWICE is even better as the first time it is like wow and the second time it has sunk in some and you take more in. Reading about it won't do the same. Boyce was NOT HAPPY and he tore them a new one.

NOTHING replaces live testimony. I only wish I could watch such in all that is in all cases all of the time. I do appreciate all that summarize or cove when we can't though. Tom in Delphi, Nate and Linda here, etc. and all their hard work and efforts and those sharing such as well.

This one though is televised so when one has the time, I'd suggest listening to it if not looking at your screen while you do even if you are doing housework, etc.

It is my belief all trials should be live and televised and when one is, if I can, I am going to watch it live. Nothing in printing can ever portray what you see in the person or hear in the voice or tone.

Allegedy Lori was a bit uncomfortable with the zombie thing at first and of course the first zombie Chad named was her hub Charles.... By the way Chad was far from still when Mel G testified. That's another thing watching live in trials one sees.

Of course I started with their get togethers and castings to cast out the evil spirit in Charles....

Nate said jurors took more notes today than they had all week and that nothing was boring, usually it is when is there a break but today flew by and it was more like, already? No, not a break, this is interesting let's keep going. paraphrasing....

He says she has avoided getting served to be their witness for YEARS and it happened with Mark Means as well. Oh man....

I heard a lot of this but Nate hitting it reminds me. Chad and Lori met in hotels and Lori always checked with Jesus if it was okay for her to be physical with Chad... Eyeroll.

And more. Like I said there was nothing dull of anything I watched today.

Oh and by the way she was kind of off and on of how much Chad was there that weekend. He was a lot but she couldn't recall every time, which time, what day, etc. She pulled her lack of memory thing. Nate has a soft spot in my opinion for Mel G which I am not in agreement with.... He kind of addresses that and the strong opinions on her.

Now the story of Chad and JJ scratching I'm but it is different than what we were just discussing. This I did not SEE today, I was in and out. HUH.

Recommend watching Nate's...

Sounds like supposedly Chad brought him back down a lot calmer, where the heck did that come from, that is not what was ever said before. And what we were just talking of and discussing recently.

I think its because we've been through one trial, but I'm getting bored with the same testimony. But I still am compelled to read it. Ha ha. Anyone else?
I go through a lot of the same stuff that I already knew, and then some nugget will pop up that I didn’t remember or never knew before! I think that’s what keeps me intrigued about this case.
