Adji was last seen in Immokalee, Florida on January 10, 2009. His mother left him at his grandmother's home in Farm Workers Village in the 800 block of Grace Street that day, as she had to work. Adji was last seen at approximately 5:15 p.m. He went outside to play with other children and disappeared.

His grandmother realized he was missing about half an hour after she'd last seen him. After searching for two hours, Adji's grandmother called the police. He has never been heard from again. An extensive search of the area turned up no indication of his whereabouts.

Adji lived with his mother and stepfather at the time of his disappearance. Investigators looked into the possibility that Adji was taken to Haiti, where his father and extended family members live, but they found no evidence to support this theory.

None of Adji's family members are considered suspects in his disappearance. His grandmother no longer lives in the Farm Worker's Village; she now shares a home with Adji's mother and stepfather, who have since given birth to a daughter they named after her brother.

Authorities believe Adji either wandered away, or was abducted by a non-relative. His case remains unsolved.

Apparently I never followed this one and probably was off here with something going on in life at the time.

Just kind of looked at the little here and I see a lot of questions, questions if it happened nowadays we'd likely ask.

Like when was he last independtly seen and by who other than family? We've learned that one well these last years.

It is said he was playing outside with other children but is there confirmation of that from others? A quick skim and in the few links I didn't see that.

The video said police came to learn he had issues and was like a two year old. So does that mean they weren't told outright?

And the grandma searched for at least two hours before calling police. Now if he was like a two year old, one, why would you send him out to play unwatched and two, wouldn't you immediately panic and call LE when you couldn't find him rather than hours later?

Finally in the recent one that I came in to see, it said at the end the mom didn't want to comment or come on camera. Why? This is a chance to revive your son's cold case and get some attention on it?

There sure isn't enough known to accuse anyone and I'm not but there sure isn't enough known here to think this was an accident or abduction either. There is really no reason to swing either way BUT cops know more. Was this child sighted by others and even other children or adults outside? Or not? When was his last independent sighting? We don't have those answers although I did a quick review here and if I'm wrong I stand to be corrected and am fine with it.
