The felonies were dropped and he only got a misdemeanor? This is how it's going to go now? Women are already victims too often!Woman says she was drugged, sexually assaulted by homicide suspect ‘Psycho’

When one considers they felt there was enough to charge FOUR felonies to begin with and then it ends like this, one really has to wonder why and how that happened...The felonies were dropped and he only got a misdemeanor? This is how it's going to go now? Women are already victims too often!
Especially those who now have lost their loved ones due to him being a murderer. And like his victim said, he probably has gotten away with it before. When one considers they felt there was enough to charge FOUR felonies to begin with and then it ends like this, one really has to wonder why and how that happened...
I have a lot of curiosity with it too but information seems as if it will be limited at least for now darn it. The sad thing is there have to be some concerned loved ones with no answer if they have someone missing, etc... We do not even have a hint of how recent to my knowledge.I'm still following this case and now I know why there isn't much to report...
Because of the ongoing investigation, law enforcement has given no details as to what led them to identify Baroz as a suspect, how long the remains were on the property or whether they can be connected to any recent missing persons.
It is unclear if Baroz has representation yet.
The arrest warrant remains sealed, according to the release.

I wonder how close they are on identification of the others. I would not have known of this identification but for seeing a remark under another unrelated case altogether.Still.rwo not identifiedd yet
I wonder if they are pretty sure she is one of the bodies found?I don't know if I have the brain cells at this time of the morning to understand all of this. So he is now charged with a murder of a woman who has not to my knowledge been named as one of the dead bodies found on those properties, only a man has been identified as far as I know of.
In trying to read this, and the various charges it sounds like she may have been a witness for something upcoming...? Another part I don't understand is the weapon and bartering...
Colorado seals much or has in many cases I have followed, at least early on, things like warrants and more, but this one smacks of something different... I have to wonder if there was some big undercover investigation/sting going on here maybe with drugs or something on a large scale... And perhaps this Psycho caught onto it or to informants...? Am I reading this case wrong? Everything is so cryptic. Again we have a murder charge but the victim is not named thus far as one of the bodies found...
Baroz charged in death of Esquibel - The Alamosa News
Adre “Psycho” Baroz was charged with seven felonies in the murder of missing Alamosa woman Selena Esquibel when he appeared in court on Monday, Dec. 14.www.alamosanews.com
I don't know. They don't provide enough info to make it anything but guesswork? It does seem they may be protecting others or something. To me, this hints at being something bigger than we even know yet...?I wonder if they are pretty sure she is one of the bodies found?
In reading that report, it seems to me that LE is quite concerned that other lives may be at risk if they release too much info. Yikes!
Wasn't there an earlier report that he was in a gang?I don't know. They don't provide enough info to make it anything but guesswork? It does seem they may be protecting others or something. To me, this hints at being something bigger than we even know yet...?
A lot of people including retired LE say his tattoos are indicative or seem to be of MS13...Wasn't there an earlier report that he was in a gang?
Interesting. The way I read the counts they all relate to this woman. Counts 8 and 9 it is harder to tell but I assume they are as well since all the way through #7 it is clear they are.court document here
Colorado is a state that often seals court documents particularly in the early days (seen it a lot) but this seems like more than that.A witness, identified as a nameless confidential informant, told investigators they saw 26-year-old Adre “Psycho” Baroz kill Selena Esquibel at a property in the Los Sauces area of Conejos County, also known as Lasauses, an arrest warrant affidavit filed in Alamosa County District Court says. Esquibel was reported missing in late August.
Man arrested after discovery of bodies in San Luis Valley was seen killing missing woman, records show
A man arrested in connection with the discovery of three sets of human remains in a rural part of the San Luis Valley last month was seen shooting a missing 19-year-old woman and leaving her body in a hole, according to court records unsealed this week. This case has peaked my interest which is unusual since it's an 'adult' however the suspect has been able to manipulate the system to his gain. I'm curious if the three sets of remains are connected to him though.Colorado is a state that often seals court documents particularly in the early days (seen it a lot) but this seems like more than that.
I hope whoever saw this is an LE undercover officer or that there were many people present because if there were only one or two, he may figure out who it is. This entire case seems to hint that anyone who is a witness against him may be in danger.
I agree. I don't know what it is, and I typically would not necessarily follow something like this more than another type of case for sure. There is just something about it that seems big, secretive and that there is far more to it. It is curious they have not tied him to the other bodies, however, maybe since they have enough to hold him on the one case and other charges and proceed, etc., it is allowing them to take their time on the other bodies to determine if they can tie him in and build a case...?This case has peaked my interest which is unusual since it's an 'adult' however the suspect has been able to manipulate the system to his gain.
