Adrianna and her mother, Jennifer Wix, were seen together between 9:00 and 9:30 p.m. on March 25, 2004. Jennifer's live-in boyfriend, William Benton, initially stated Jennifer and Adrianna left home with an unknown individual.

He later altered his story and said he and Jennifer had an argument and he dropped her and Adrianna off at an Exxon gas station near Exit 112 off Interstate 65 in Cross Plains, Tennessee. After five to ten minutes, Adrianna and Jennifer got into a white four-door early 1990's model mid-size car, at a gas station near Exit 112 off Interstate 65 in Cross Plains, Tennessee.

Benton stated Jennifer went to their home, without Adrianna, the next afternoon. She was driving the car she'd gotten into the previous day. She asked for her income tax return but her boyfriend's parents were not at home to give her the money so she left and said she would come back for it. She never did.

Jennifer and Adrianna have never been heard from again. Neither of them had any personal items, money, or extra clothes when they disappeared.

Jennifer and Adrianna may still be in the Cross Plains area, or they may have traveled to Florida. They are believed to be in danger, as it is uncharacteristic of Jennifer to be out of touch with her family.

I haven't looked at this blog in years. It was started by someone at WS and I doubt it's being maintained anymore. There are some new comments on there, though. Interesting.

I wonder what Joey is up to these days?
Hopefully he will be up to doing time.

‘It feels like no one is listening’: Woman pleads for answers as sister, niece remain missing

It’s been 17 long years since 21-year-old Jennifer Wix and her 2-year-old daughter Adrianna were last seen in Cross Plains, Tennessee in March of 2004.

All these years later there are still no answers, but now family tell us there’s a new connection and renewed search.

“It’s not top of mind for a lot of people anymore, but it’s top of mind for us,” Casey Robinson said, who was 15 at the time of her sister and nieces disappearance. “I cant stop thinking about it because they’re gone. Someone took them. Someone did something to them.”

“We recently connected with some of her boyfriend’s family members which we haven’t talked to them in years,” Robinson said, adding it has prompted an ongoing search of the property where Wix was last seen.

Robinson says there’s new information that she can’t discuss.

“After 17 years, these type of cases…they seem to get forgotten and I understand that there are more time sensitive cases right now. I understand, but what I’m asking is that you don’t forget them because something did happen to them in that town, at that home, with that family.”

Robinson is hoping an investigative podcast picks up her sister’s story. She is hosting an online event on Tuesday, November 9 to help spread awareness about the case.

If you would like to sign up for that event, click here.

The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office issued the following statement regarding the case:

“This case is still active, but we have not had any new developments. We ask for anyone that may have any information regarding this case to please contact the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office to help us provide answers and bring closure to the family. Anyone with information can contact the Sheriff’s Office at 615-384-7971, or submit a tip on the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office website or Sheriff’s app. TBI is also assisting with this case.”

Robinson says there is now a $25,000 reward offered in this case. Anyone with information can also call the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND. Callers remain anonymous.

Jennifer's little sister started up a new Facebook page. It is raw and sometimes difficult to follow due to the sadness and anger I feel from this case not being solved! I believe there are people out there who are too scared to come forward. ARGH!

Justice for Jennifer and Adrianna Wix

😣 me. Running into road blocks the last few days, working their case.
Records being deleted and purged.
People talking to me, until I tell them who I am.
Case being ‘open’ and ‘active’ so no FACTS available.
Family split and hung up on the past.. when we should have one goal.
Starting to think I’ll never find the answers.

Casey is Jennifer's little sister and she's having an event today. She is asking that we collectively go to these links and ask for the girls to be showcased. Some of them have had broadcasts about them in the past, but it was a very long time ago.

I'm pretty quick with the copy and paste function so it didn't take me long at all to contact all the websites on the list. I haven't done the FB pages, though. I used the verbiage that Casey has on there and it was super easy.

New age-progression for Adrianna.

From Facebook:
"I want to make it very clear, my family does not believe that Adrianna is still out there, but we cannot know that for sure until we get more answers about their disappearance.
And we’re working on that.
Getting closer."

Age-enhanced photo hopes to bring closure in case of missing 2-year-old Adrianna Wix

After 17 years, Jennifer and Adrianna Wix’s family is not giving up hope of finding out what happened to them. They were last seen on March 25, 2004.

According to Robertson County deputies, they were living with Jennifer’s boyfriend Joey Benton. Benton told deputies that he dropped them off at a Cross Plains gas station and that they got into a white car.

The next day, Benton says Jennifer Wix came back to his home without Adrianna and then got back into a white car and drove away. Benton remains a person of interest in this case.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children worked with their family and helped to create an age-enhanced image of Adrianna Wix. Wix was two years old at the time of her disappearance and the enhanced photo shows her at 19 years old.

“If she happens to see this and recognizes herself or if her friends recognize her, it would be a Christmas miracle,” Jennifer Wix’s sister Casey Robinson says. “We are not giving up on finding answers.”

It’s very difficult for Jennifer’s mom when these age progressed pictures come out. She feels they should be school pictures. Makes me very sad every time a new one comes out.

Joe Pichler’s sister felt similarly. When his first age progression came out I remember she said something like, it was shocking because they didn’t get to see him grow up in person, and now they’re seeing him older.
I can’t imagine they’re easy to see for any family. I believe some families do opt out. I just hope they can offer some hope.
