Aundria's (birth name Alexis M Badger) adoptive father Dennis Bowman was arrested in November for the 1980 rape and brutal murder of a lady named Kathleen Doyle, 25, in Norfolk, Virginia.

ALLEGAN, Mich. (WOOD) — An Allegan County man has confessed to killing his adopted daughter 30 years ago, the girl’s mother told News 8.

Aundria Bowman, 14, vanished from her Hamilton Township home March 11, 1989. Aundria’s biological mother Cathy Terkanian had always suspected Aundria’s adoptive father Dennis Bowman was behind hit.

Authorities are conducting a search at Dennis Bowman’s home on 136th Avenue near Hamilton.

The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a press conference at 5:30 p.m. today in reference to the case.

Aundria Bowman has been missing from Holland, MI since March 11, 1989. Awaiting tests to verify she has recently been found!

Aundria disappeared shortly after she accused her adoptive father, Dennis Lee Bowman, of sexually abusing her. After 30 years, Dennis has confessed to killing her.

He's a monster. I have a hard time believing he only had two victims. What gets me is that his wife stood behind him all that time. She didn't see any red flags at all?

Hey, your coming into these makes them a new post and sure gives a bump I just want to say. It's how I have to live these days iI pretty much by "new posts", not notifications, etc. I know I'm not the only one who does it that way either.

Her heartache just kills me though. She was unable to have any more children and wanted another child so badly. I believe her mother made her give her daughter up for adoption and then this happened. I think a lot of her bravery comes with a ton of pain.
