This saddens me as there is not as much attention on this case as there is on Suzanne Morphew and yet they both disappeared on Mother's Day. There also is not a lot of information on it.

Kelsey told Dateline she last spoke to her mother on the evening of May 9, 2020, the day before Mother’s Day. The next day, she drove to her house in Edwards, Missouri to deliver a Mother’s Day card and flowers. But her mother didn’t appear to be home.

Her car wasn’t in the driveway and the door was locked,” Kelsey explained. “So I left the card and flowers on the back porch and wrote her a note telling her to call me.”

But Kelsey never received a call from her mother.

On Monday, Kelsey tried calling her mother on both her cell and house phones. And continued calling every morning of every day that week. But the calls went straight to voicemail.

“It was just odd,” Kelsey said. “When the house phone went to voicemail, I knew something wasn’t right.”

On Friday, May 15, Kelsey drove back over to her mother’s house. But this time, her mother’s locked car was in the driveway.

“I started banging on the front door and the back… I was banging on the whole house, hoping she was inside and that she’d hear me,” Kelsey said. “But no one was there.”

Anyone know what kind of car she had? I'm just reading up.
The daughter, trying to bring attention to the case, did more than a few Youtube appearances a few months ago and honestly it was the first I knew of this case. One thing I have asked and wondered is what kind of car, etc. and to my knowledge, there is no such info about that. I can't think of a real reason why that cannot be shared by LE nor family nor anyone. How do you find someone or find people who may have seen activities or Echo or the car in the days of when she disappeared if LE does not put that out there? Like Colorado, Missouri often strikes me the same...

Also, they are not looking for the car or her or so it seems (LE) but where it and she was prior one would think would matter so I can only suppose LE knows. Yet they nor the family gives the make model, year, color, etc. when asked. The last I remember is LE seems to not think her going missing was around the home nor was it the scene, so no reason to search, so maybe they have info we don't that tells them that, yet the daughter feels it was and is the place to start and the neighbor. This is not an opinion of what I think just a fill in of what is known or unknown as far as I know. There are also dollar store sightings and debate of which dollar store and which town.

My purpose in asking about the car is some cars have GPS tracking whether the driver realizes it or not. If a perp disposed of her body using her car, there may or may not be a GPS trail.
They sure do! I know someone who sold her Ford and the next owner who bought it from the dealer called her and asked her if she had the manual for it! The dealer forgot to erase the GPS information and he was able to figure out where she worked. Totally creepy.

That is creepy. I determined some DMVs must give out or have accessible info too because after getting my last car, I started getting calls and mail related to the specific car. I don't give out my address nor phone number easily so it only could have come from the DMV that I can figure.

The car isn't missing so I guess the question is whether it has GPS and whether LE obtained that info. Why no one will provide the public with the info re the car though is odd just in case anyone saw it or her in the days around which she went missing.

Two years ago, a mom of four vanished on Mother's Day after befriending a neighbor. What happened to Echo Lloyd?

On May 10, 2020, Echo Lloyd's daughter, Kelsey, dropped by to wish her a happy Mother’s Day with a card and a pot of flowers. According to Bring Echo Home, Kelsey knocked on the door but there was no answer and the 47-year-old’s car wasn’t in the driveway.

This year marks the second Mother’s Day Echo’s children have had to endure without knowing where she is or what happened to her. Echo and her ex-husband ended on good terms. He has reportedly participated in the searches and loved ones don’t believe he is a suspect.

Search for Echo Lloyd continues as missing person case nears four-year mark

On May 15, 2020, a Benton County Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched to Stag Drive in Edwards for a missing person. They met Echo Lloyd’s daughter, who said she had not seen her mother in weeks.

Even with all departments searching diligently for Lloyd, it’s as if she simply vanished.

“There was no forensic evidence, there's no sign of a struggle, there's no evidence saying that she's deceased, but obviously by now we know she is. So, all we still have is a missing person,” Knox said. “The Missouri State Highway Patrol has the case. As a matter of fact, they don't even talk to me about it, so I haven't really had anything to write about or anything new because, basically, it's gone cold.”

Knox and other sheriff's office employees, the Highway Patrol, area firefighters, water patrol, the Missouri Department of Conservation, and other volunteers conducted a grid search of the heavily wooded areas around Lloyd's home.

“Again, this search produced no answers that would help us to locate Echo or help determine what had happened to her,” Knox said. “I knew our office did not have the resources necessary to give this case what it was going to need, so the case was turned completely over to the DDCC.”

Knox said the Highway Patrol has put in thousands of man-hours on the missing person case. Expert cavers were brought in to search the extensive caves in Benton County. All leads from citizens were followed, and every person who had contact with Lloyd was interviewed. The DDCC interviewed every other person of interest that may have related to her in any way.

“They interviewed people whose names came up from those leads and interviews still producing no hard evidence of what happened to Echo,” Knox said.

“Three weeks ago, they came across a lead, and they followed up on it,” Knox said. “They didn't even tell me about it. I found out through the Camden County Sheriff's Office.”

That most recent lead was worked by DDCC involving K9s and a forensic team. Unfortunately, this latest search resulted in no additional information in the Lloyd case.

“It is our heartfelt desire by every member of the BCSO that evidence will come in that will help the DDCC solve this case,” Knox said.

“As time goes by, somebody's going to talk,” Knox predicted. “Somebody's going to slip something, somebody's going to brag, some ex-girlfriend relationship gone bad, somebody's going to say something.”

Knox is asking anyone with information on the missing woman to come forward.

“My door is always open,” Knox said. “Somebody knows something. Please come forward and give Echo's family and loved ones the peace they deserve.”

Just a couple of examples but there are others in this short update--what is going on here between agencies and powers that be?

This woman went missing the same day or seems like it as Suzanne Morphew, different state. Many don't know of it and it has had little attention in comparison to some.

And why does highway patrol have this case? That alone seems odd to me.

Missouri family seeks help to find missing woman Echo Michelle Lloyd

A Missouri family is urgently asking the public for assistance with finding their missing family member, Echo Michelle Lloyd, who disappeared on May 14, 2020. She has not been seen or heard from in more than four years.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol poster, Lloyd was last seen at 30617 Stag Drive, Edwards, Missouri, on May 14, 2020. However, a spokesperson for Echo’s family stated that she was last sighted in Warsaw, Missouri.

“Please ensure it’s noted that she was last seen at Walmart & Dollar General in Warsaw, Missouri, not Climax Springs. Our family spoke with the cashier who saw her on 5/10/2020,” the spokesperson said.

The most recent update in the case came on March 27, 2024, when Benton County Sheriff Erick Knox made a public statement, affirming that Echo’s case has never left the Sheriff’s Office’s thoughts.

Despite extensive searches across water bodies, land, and caves, and with assistance from the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control (DDCC), who took over the case shortly after it was reported to the Sheriff’s Office, there remains no concrete evidence regarding Echo’s whereabouts.

“The DDCC continues to actively investigate all tips and leads received. Three weeks ago, the Camden County Sheriff’s Office provided a lead that was pursued by DDCC involving K9 units and a forensic team, but unfortunately, no significant breakthrough was made in Echo’s case,” Sheriff Knox disclosed. “All leads, regardless of how small or vague, are diligently followed up by the DDCC.”

Sheriff Knox also said, “My door is always open. Somebody knows something, please come forward and give Echo’s family and loved ones the peace they deserve.”

She disappeared the same day Suzanne Morphew allegedly did if I recall and her case has never had near the same attention.

I have some thoughts on it but there's never been quite enough to cement them in a solid opinion. I will say though it seems they are doing little or have done little about it but then that's often how it appears when they actually are working on it. I wish that would change because lack of news breeds suspicion imo as to whether they even care, are working on it, etc.
