EVELYN BOSWELL: Tennessee vs. Megan Boswell for 2019 murder of daughter

Thank You for clarifying that. It's so confusing. But still my error.
That bothers me yet too, the showing up wet. I still think the grandma and her bf at least knew. There is also the fact that I think it was grandma that said to grandpa he was going to regret it if he called LE about Eveylyn missing...

I could be wrong here but I feel like this is going to turn out to be all Megan. There are just so many crappy people in her life that it's easy for her to start pointing fingers and having people look away from her. Of course that only worked for so long.
I think so, too and very possibly her mom covering for her and/or "advising" her of what to do about 'the problem'.

Body found with 'exact' same clothing as Evelyn Boswell was reported wearing, agent says

The body of an approximately 1-year-old girl found Friday amid the search for Evelyn Boswell had the "exact clothing" as the Tennessee toddler was described as wearing when she was first reported missing, according to a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agent.

Other children's clothing, toys and diapers also were found at the Boswell family residence in Blountville, Tennessee, where authorities discovered the body during a search of the property, TBI Special Agent Brian Fraley testified during a bond hearing Monday for Evelyn's mother, Megan Boswell.

Fraley did not specify where on the property the child's remains were found.

Authorities have yet to confirm whether the child's remains are those of Evelyn, who has been the subject of a statewide Amber Alert and an intensive search since she was reported missing Feb. 18.

Fraley testified the remains appeared to be those of an approximately 1- to 1½-year-old girl that matched the description of Evelyn. The body has been sent for autopsy.

So far, no one has been charged in the child's death.

Mother of missing Evelyn Boswell has bond raised, TBI agent describes search of home

Megan Boswell, the mother of the missing 15-month-old Tennesse girl Evelyn Boswell, had her bond increased from $25,000 to $150,000 on Monday, WJHL reports.

Megan is charged with giving false reports.

Special Agent Brian Fraley with the TBI testified in court, saying Megan made multiple false statements which cost investigators time.

This is her first court appearance since authorities discovered what they believe to be the remains of Evelyn.

The remains were found on a property belonging to a family member of Megan in the 500 block of Muddy Creek Road.

Investigators found clothes that matched the description of what Evelyn was last seen wearing. They also found toys, diapers and other child’s clothing.

Days after authorities found remains believed to be missing toddler Evelyn Boswell, we are hearing from her father, Ethan Perry and his family, for the first time.

You can read the full statement below:

“While we continue to ask for privacy as we grieve this terrible tragedy. It has come to our attention there are various unauthorized fundraising efforts on Evelyn’s and our family’s behalf in regards to Evelyn. Also, there are those on social media claiming to speak for our family, these claims are false.
Our focus has always been Evelyn and now on the investigation and bringing all of those responsible to justice. We have complete faith and confidence in law enforcement to do just that.
We ask you all again to please respect our privacy. At the same time, we would also like to thank the public for their outpouring of love for Evelyn and law enforcement for their incredible dedication to this case.
When and if the appropriate time comes for statements, fundraisers etc. It will come from our family and be relayed to, and confirmed by trusted media and or the authorities. Thank you again.”

Stephen Pappas, Perry Family Spokesperson

Stephen Pappas is engaged to Ethan Perry’s mother, Amanda.

Pappas said Ethan and his mom want people to be cautious of fundraisers and to respect their privacy as they grieve.

This is worth reading. She actually did an interview and provided information. All we can do is judge by the article but to me most of it rings true. I am not sure I believe every word but overall, maybe? I could be entirely wrong.

Here's the thing though, her boyfriend said the last time he saw Evelyn was in November and she said September. I guess it is possible it was different times for each.

Anyhow, it's worth reading.

An autopsy was performed at the William L. Jenkins Forensic Center in Johnson City. Authorities have not announced what the autopsy found.

Staubus' office moved Monday to seal all records from the autopsy. Sullivan County Criminal Court Judge Jim Goodwin agreed and signed a court order that was filed in the case against Evelyn's mother, 18-year-old Megan "Maggie" Boswell, and sent to the forensic center.

The move will make secret information about the identity and cause of death of the body until authorities decide to release it to the public. Autopsy reports are normally public records in Tennessee.

10 days after Evelyn Boswell's remains were found, there are still no homicide charges

It's been ten days since the remains of 15-month-old Evelyn Boswell were found in east Tennessee. But, so far, still no criminal homicide charges have been filed.

The case remains far from closed.

The District Attorney still has not released the cause or time of the child's death. But sources tell Newschannel 5 the case for now is being treated as a homicide.

This case has been really quiet. Here is a little update on the grandmother and her boyfriend. There is a short article and short video down in the article. They were arrested recently for shoplifting and banned for life from all Walmarts. I believe they were both an ankle monitors as well. They don't seem to be in jail the way it sounds. Smh.
