EVELYN BOSWELL: Tennessee vs. Megan Boswell for 2019 murder of daughter

Yea it sounds like she was lying to the guy she dated for a few weeks too when she said Evelyn was with her Dad and that she fell off the bed and broke her arm while she was with him. Hunter said he only saw pictures of Evelyn and had never seen the child. I'll be curious to see what kind of information the people in the car might have about Evelyn.

Timeline of the case of missing toddler Evelyn Boswell
Dec. 10-11

Cassidy said Friday he believes Evelyn was last seen on Dec. 10 or 11 by a babysitter.

Dec. 26

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation originally said Evelyn was reportedly last seen on the day after Christmas.

Feb. 18

The investigation into Evelyn's disappearance began in the afternoon after her grandfather reported to the Department of Children's Services that certain family members hadn't seen her in two months. The case was referred to the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office.

7 p.m. CST on Feb. 19

The TBI issued an Amber Alert for Evelyn's case.

Feb. 21

8 a.m. CST:
The TBI announced they are looking for a gray 2007 BMW with Tennessee tag 3M9 6W9 because it believed people traveling in the car may have information about Evelyn's whereabouts.

1 p.m. CST: In a news conference, Cassidy said Evelyn's parents were participating in the investigation. Her father, Ethan Perry, is in the military and stationed in Louisiana. Her mother, Megan "Maggie" Boswell, has full custody and has provided inaccurate information to authorities, Cassidy said.

Cassidy also announced he is personally offering a $1,000 reward to anyone who gives information that leads to Evelyn's safe return. He encouraged others to contribute as well.

As authorities continue to search for Evelyn Boswell, an East Tennessee toddler at the center of a statewide Amber Alert, a reward for information on her whereabouts was at $33,000 and counting on Friday evening, according to the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office.

Sullivan County Sheriff Jeff Cassidy announced Friday he was personally offering a $1,000 reward and encouraged others to contribute.

Evelyn hasn't been seen since December but wasn't reported missing until Feb. 18, authorities announced this week.

Cassidy said Friday afternoon that the case is full of "conflicting information and inaccuracies," and that he believes Evelyn was last seen Dec. 10 or 11 by a babysitter.

“This is unlike anything I have ever seen,” he said at a press conference.

Grandfather of missing Evelyn said he called DCS, hasn’t seen her since Thanksgiving
The grandfather of missing 15-month-old Evelyn Boswell spoke to News Channel 11 Friday evening, hours after officials with the Sheriff’s Department held their first news conference about the case.

Tommy Boswell Sr., the grandfather of Evelyn Boswell, told News Channel 11’s Kelly Grosfield he has not seen her since Thanksgiving.

“I don’t know what happened, but I’m the one who called DCS and got this started…I ain’t slept nights, I’ve cried like a baby. I just want my grandbaby to come home,” Boswell Sr. said.

In a news conference Friday afternoon, officials with the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office said Evelyn was last seen on December 10 or 11 by a babysitter.

News 5 was there when Megan Boswell, who is Evelyn's mother, walked out of a court in Bristol. When she walked outside, she initially wouldn't talk to us. Now, she is speaking with News 5 about the case.

What makes you feel better about the chances of Evelyn being cared for? Listening to her talk in the interview makes me think she did something to her and I really hate to say that.

I was trying to hang on to little bit of hope . At the time I said that, I pictured the grandmother taking the baby because she was better equipped to care for her & Evelyn's mother had not reported it because she enjoyed having no responsibility & knew grandmother could tell what mother had done or not done in caring for the child - certainly didn't know the GM was on the run in a stolen car with a male companion.

Today, looks very different.

FIND BABY EVELYN!

You just stated exactly what I was thinking and hoping. That she was in the care of grandma and daughter did not want baby's father knowing it, and that she was safe and sound. I could not understand though once it hit the news why grandma wouldn't come forward with baby.

I still have hope and am not sure what I believe anymore. It does not look good though, agree on that. I feel if they had this child, they would produce her immediately now on arrest to avoid further possible charges.

Exactly like the Caylee case! :(
